In this paper, mechanics, electronics, two-phase flow, biology, and optics theories were synthetically applied, automatic separation techniques for meiobenthos based on the current developments in this field from country to aboard were put forward, and a set of new type meiobenthos separate device was developed. Be taken as emphases, optimized flow pipe design and motion control technique were analyzed. The rotating liquid jet method based on the cramming and structure characteristics of capillary porocity was proposed to solve capillary porocity plug-removing and Ratable control was proposed to solve samples collecting, simulation and test demonstration were also supplied. The results indicate that the separate techniques can reach the goal of meiobenthos automatic separation and has good effects.The thesis includes seven chapters.Chapter 1 is a survey. The current developments in the field of meiobenthos separate or related from country to aboard were introduced and analyzed. The bases and significances of the research were discussed.In chapter 2, the design of separate device based on automatic separation techniques for meiobenthos Specimens was introduced. The automatic separation techniques were divided into four sub-techniques: Optimized flow pipe technique, Detection for meiobenthos technique, Electro-mechanical separate technique, Overall integration technique, fluorescent inspect technique was simply introduced.In chapter 3,Optimized flow pipe technique was analyzed. Optimized parameters, plug-removel, backing up etc. were emphasized in flow pipe design solving. Rotating liquid jet method was proposed, which is one of good methods for capillary porocity plug-removing. Thus the most key technique was solved in flow pipe design.From chapter 4 to chapter 5, Electro-mechanical separate technique was introduced from design analyzed to experimental investigation and from open-loop control to closed-loop control.
