Risk of the slopes geohazards has become one of important problems that are popularly concerned with since 90s. Evaluation for slopes geohazards has such steps: Based on many collections and analysis plentiful basic geological information, use felicitous mathematic model to measure corresponding classification of geohazards, then zone the study area. So the result of evaluation for slopes geohazards heavily depends on reliability of basic geological information and rationality of mathematic model. But there occur many difficulties in applying various mathematic models and evaluation results are dissatisfactory because of each geologic factor itself not the determinism as well as between them mutually affects the complexity and the basic geological information not integrity.In view of it, this paper use support vector machine (SVM), a novel learn algorithm, to solve concerned problem. It discusses how to apply the multi-classification algorithm of SVM to the field of evaluation for slopes geohazards. Then, Secondary development based on ArcGIS is performed to construct geohazards regional evaluation GIS after implement the module of index system editor, the module of multi-classification algorithm and etc.At the end of the thesis, the nature conditions and general geological situations of Zigui County are introduced. Evaluation of the slopes geohazards in study area is performed by using above programs. And the evaluation results indicate that it is effective and reasonable to carry out geohazards regional evaluation in this way.
