In recent years, with the development of the technique, production management has become a bottleneck of the company's benefit improvement. Every company try its best to improve work efficiency, to reduce production cost. So, production management means a lot to company, especially to the company in marine engineering area. Most of them are big enterprise with big investment, and their businesses usually are huge and complicate system engineering. Production management getting more important under this situation. How manager make proper decision to guarantee enterprise's profit when facing different kinds of difficult situation and problem? To solve this problem, we can use scientific operational research method to analyze the situation, provide reasonable result to manager.This paper do research with two real project, one is "Using Ship Layout Optimizing Algorithm in Practice", it's a project cooperated with Tianjin Offshore Oil Engineering Co.,LTD.(COOEC). The purpose of this project is to analyze the complicate work situation by operational research method, provide scientific reasonable feasible solution to manager. So it avoids the finance lose cause by the wrong decision made in subjective ship layout method, and improve company's profit.Another one is "Program files management system research in international marine engineering project", it's a project cooperated with Dalian New ShipBuilding Co.,LTD.(DNS). The purpose of this project is to apply statistic method to the procedure of building marine architecture, calculate the weight and central of gravity in different phase, and ensure that has no much difference compare to design. If it does happen, manager can take action to fix problem in time. This project has been checked and accepted, the "weight control" software developed in the project has been applied in practice for one year.With the experience of the real project, this paper has done initial research about how to analyze complicate situation and how to provide scientific result to manager, and expect this research can be foundation of further research in future.
