Phytogeography which study flora geography and vegetation geography research the relation between the plant distribution and space and time. It has great meaning for studying plant distribution , flora evolve , protection and utilization of plant resources, vegetation evolve etc. . The Huangdulin nature reserve lies within the boundaries of grand river town of Xiongjinag , in Minqing county of Fujian Province, in the transition area of Center subtropical and Southern subtropical. This paper has studied some systematically for flora geography of the Huangdulin nature reserve, resources of the plant, the individual growth and the law of growing with the forest, population niche characteristic , the change of plant life types and species diversity in the restoration of degraded ecosystem ,and the main results of study were as follows:1 The vascular flora of Huangdulin nature reserve consists of 174 families, 621 genera and 1113 species, in the respective percentage of 75.32, 49.40 and 29.83 compared with the flora of Fujian Province. The characteristic families in this flora are Rosaceae, Fagaceae, Lauraceae, Magnoliaceae, Aquifoliaceae, Symplocaceae and Theaceae. The main geographical elements of genera are Pantropic (28.32%), Tropical Asia (12.37%), North Temperate (12.37%) and East Asia (11.83%). Various tropical elements makes up 62.54% and various temperate ones does 37.46%. Compared with 5 mountain regions, this flora is quite familiar to that of Niumulin nature reserve in Fujian and in tight relations to the flora of Mengdongyang in Fujian and Dinghushan in Guangdong, but does not contact very close with the flora of East China and Center China. The conclusion is that this flora is a part of South China flora.2 There are lots of resource plant including 135 families ,458 genera and 807 species in the Huangdulin nature reserve because of its environmental variety.3 The growth of diameter in breast height, tree height and timber cube are distinctly different in comparison of Cyclobalanopsis chungii nature forest to that of manmade forest. The max value of the growth of diameter in breast height was earlier in the manmade forest than that in nature one. The tree height growth was also earlier and more quick in the former than in the later, and the timber cube growth in the former was more quick the in later. So manmade forest is an efficient way to promote its productivity.4 The niche characteristics of 12 main tree populations in Cyclobalanopsis chungii forests are analysed by a quantitative method. The results showed that Cyclobalanopsis chungii,Adinandra millettii, Lithocarpus polystachyus, Castanopsis fargesii were wide niche breadth populations, and Meliosma rigida, Itea chinensis var. oblonga were narrow niche breadth ones. The niche similar proportion between Cyclobalanopsis chungii and other populations changed greatly. The inter-population competitions were not intensive and the Cyclobalanopsis chungii community just stayed in a unstable succession stage.5 The study on the plant components' characterstic in Cyclobalanopsis chungii forests in different restoration phases showed that phanerophytes took, advantage in the 5 communities. Microphanerophytes and nanophanerophytes had the highest percertage and liane phanerophytes followed them. The similarity of the structure of the life form in the 5 communities showed the close relations among them. Microtype leaf and leatherliked leaf took advantage over half percentage.6 Study on species diversity of Cyclobalanopsis chungii forests of 5 restoration phases in Huangdulin nature reserve in Fujian showed that species in tree and shrub layers changed sharply but smoothly in liana and herb layers. Intolerant plants effected on the small side in the communities during the course of the restoration. Wihle restorating, a diversity index increased and the community stabilization were enhanced. Increasing of common species in the communities with the prolonging of the restoration indicated that all the communities ev...
