Since its first production by Professor L. A. Zadel, the fuzzy theory as well as its application has undergone substantial development.However, because of the complexity of the objective world, the shortage of ability in people's cognition, and potential error margins of the measure tools, people usually run into the incomplete and uncertain information, which can be exactly described by interval numbers. The ranking of interval numbers and the consequent uncertainty have received much attention from the researchers.Thus this paper sets out to discuss the following problems related to the interval number:First, the ranking of interval number occupies the important position in fuzzy decision theory. This paper discusses and induces a few normal ranking methods by comparing their characters, and then a new ranking method based on possibility is put forward when random variable is not well-distributed.Secondly, when payment function value takes interval number, the homologous content of game theory is again discussed to satisfy people' decision habit. The linear programming with interval number in target function and constraint coefficient is analyzed thoroughly.Finally, the paper deals with fuzzy assignment problem based on interval number and put forward a new operator in the hope of rendering a new dimension to solve the multi-objective fuzzy assignment problem.
