Three Miocene stratigraphic sections including Shanwang, Liaocheng of North China and Jilin Hunchun of Northeast China were selected to study the palynof lora. According to sporo-pollen assemblages correlation with other areas of North and Northeast China, the geographic age of each deposit area were decided and the paleovegetation, paleoclimate were reconstructed. Based on the principle of the coexistence approach , seven quantitative paleoclimate parameters of Shanwang and Hunchun were obtained.The geological age of Shanwang formation is Middle Miocene based on the palynoflora, Shanwang palynoflora comprises of 120 palynomorphs belonging to 77 genus, 40 families. The percentage of pteridophytes is 3%, gymnosperms 5%-27%, angiosperms 70%-92%.Seven paleoclimatic parameters of Mioceng Shanwang area estimated include MAT(22.1℃-13.3℃), WMT(27. 5℃-22. 5℃), CMT(15. 1XM. 9℃), DT(26℃11. 4℃), MAP(1254. 7mm-618. 9mm), MMaP(249. 6mm-172. 4mm), MMiP(18. 5mm-7.1mm).The geological age of Liaocheng should belongs to the middle Miocene based on sporo-pollen and Ostracodes fossils. Liaocheng palynoflora comprises of 67 palynomorphs belonging to 58 genus, 46 families. The percentage of pteridophytes is 7. 77%-23. 53%, algae 0. 43%-24. 7%, gymnosperms 1. 8%-6. 48%, angiosperms 62. 16%-85. 25%.The geological age of Tumenzi formation in Hunchun area is Middle Miocene according to the sporopollen flora, Hunchun palynoflora comprises of 51 palynomorphs belonging to 35 genus, 24 families. Angiosperm pollen types dominate the assemblage, Comprising up to about 86% of the total sporopollen tallies,gymnosperm pollen represent only 11%, Pteridophyte spores occur sporadically, about 3.24%.Seven paleoclimatic parameters of Middle Miocene Hunchun area estimated include MAT(22.1-13.3), WMT(27. 5-22. 5), CMT(15.11. 9), DT(26癈-12. 3癈), MAP(1254. 7mm-803. 6mm), MMaP(249. 6mm-141. 5mm), MMiP(18. 5mm-6. 9mm).
