Research On Changes Of Land Use/Cover Of The Lower TALIMU River Based On Remote Sensing And GIS

With the support of core database of the TM and CBERS, the guidance of systematic and sustainable development theory and based on Remote Sensing and GIS, the author proceeded systematically and comprehensively research of the land use/cover change in the lower reaches of the lower TALIMU RIVER, which was divided into two stages from 1990 to 2002.The thesis of following points:Generalization of the relative theories of land use/cover Based on previous research results of land use/cover background ,content, situation, progress, the object, the purpose of land use and the systematic theory and the sustainable development theory of land use/cover were summarized. All these are the theoretical basis of the paper.(2)Probing into the study methods of change of land use Compared the traditional study methods of land use/cover with contemporary hi-tech(such as Remote Sensing and GIS .etc) which have predominance of short period, high precision and large cover scale in the study of land use/cover, compared the TM with CBERS ,the author put forward the general study framework of the whole paper. (3)Study on the change or land use/cover in the lower TALIMU RIVER 's Project area based on Remote Sensing and GIS This part is the core of paper .Based on the acquisition –processing-abstraction of data, the structures an quantities of land use/cover change, the change of degree, the land use/cover dynamic degree and the index of the land use/cover dynamic degree were researched and analyzed comprehensibly in two different periodes(1990-1999,1999-2002) and sum up the conclusion.(4)Study on the sustainable utilization of land in the low TALIMU RIVER Based on the research results of change of land use/cover the lower TALIMU RIVER and the sustainable development theory, suggestions of ensuring sustainable utilization of land and sustainable development of economics of the lower TALIMU RIVER were proposed.
