The history is 160 years of Hair Morphology, and acquired gigantic achievement. The study of world focus on the morpha of sca, medulla, pigment , differentiation of species , analysis of food-, differentiation of parasite padrone , weave capability of hair etc. But none of the study is for correlativity of mammalian hair morpha , structure and function.This paper takes hairs of various species of winter and summer as material, namely Red deer, Siberian weasel, Leopard cat and Arctic fox, to observe the morphology of hair scales and other study item.The Red deer of hair is from fundament, the top of hind Hmb, the lower of hind limb and ungula, the hair of other animals is from cephalic , dorsunrK fundament , the top of hind limb, the lower of hind limb and ungula.This item that measured in this paper included the length of han\ the diameter of hair and medulla,he length none of the medulla in top and root of hair, the height and width of scale , the number of scale in fixation length, the length of different scale, then calculated the item including medulla index , the proportion of none of the medulla in top and root of hair, the proportion of scale length and scale widthu the proportion of different scale.Through adopt relevant analytical method, the result shows: in hairs of red deer , yellow weasel, Arctic fox and leopard cat, the remarkable correlativity exist in the diameter and the medulla diameter of hairs ,the coefficient is 0.98 , 0, 0.87 , 0.94 respectively; the length and the medulla length of hairs have the correlativity, the coefficient is 0.99 , 0.87 , 0.91, 0.81 respectively. In the hairs of red deer, the medulla diameter and the scale height, the medulla diameter and the scale width, the length of hairand the root of hair without medulla, the proportion of the hair's top without medulla and the proportion of the hair's root without medulla, these character exist the correlativity, the coefficient is 0.49 , -0.30 , 0.54 respectively. In the hairs of yellow weasel, Arctic fox and leopard cat, the proportion of the hair's top without medulla and the proportion of the hair's root without medulla have the correlativity, the coefficient is 0.67, 0.56, 0.65; the length of hair and the flat scale have the correlativity, the coefficient is 0.69, 0.49, 0.59; the length of hair and the valvular scale exist the correlativity, the coefficient is 0.76, 0.46, 0.61. Get the following conclusion through analysing: (1)The ones that have among species among the relevant indexes of mao are peculiar on different animals; (2)There are relevant relations among the appearance shape of mao and its micro structure on the animal; (3)Shape instead of carry out function exist dependence structure of mao at the animal; (4)Because animal different life season , different health with distribute place with the latitude position, it have mao carry out function have different to lay particular emphasis on , lead to the fact last maos of shape structure its take place corresponding change.
