In the past decades, the Air Force has been using balloon-theodolite measuring method in weather observation, radar detection and so on. The balloons are mostly of hydrogen. At present, there are two kinds of weather balloons hydrogen charging instruments-one is buoyancy balance, and the other equalizer. The former has to be operated in a complex way, while the latter has a tendency to charge too much or not enough, greatly affecting the accuracy of the observation data. Moreover, both drive observers so hard that they have to read the metrical data of glass and thermometer, before finding out the proper net lifting force through manual work. We decide to develop an equipment of weather balloon puffing to behoove the proper net lifting force automatically. It not only advances the precision of puffing and automatic degree of the weather balloon's puffing, but also eases the intensity of labour. The sample has been tried out in some observatories of Air Force airport. It has been working smoothly, meeting the demand of original design basically.
