In this thesis, high quality VO2 thin films are deposited on verities of substrates. The microstructures of VO2 thin films are studied with XRD. The properties of thermochromic VO2 thin films have been investigated by FT-IR spectroscopy. Thermally induced phase transition of VO2 films occurred at a certain temperature, associated with abrupt changes in optical properties. Influence of nonstoichiometry on Raman scattering of VO2 films has been analyzed. The experimental evidence is presented and the reason for nonstoichiometry dependence on Raman spectra of VO2 films is discussed. The thermochromism of PcNi/VO2 multilayer-films have also been studied. By comparison, we found that, the PcNi thin films have antireflection effect on VO2 thin films from 1.5 to 5. 5m wavelength, the thermochromism and PT temperature of PcNi/V02 films are not changed compared to VO2 thin films.
