By the study of classical testing methods adopted in testing the image quality of large-sized ground-based astronomical optical telescopes, we bring forward two testing ways on the foundation of high-resolution image reconstruction technology. After getting the Seeing parameter r0, we maysimulate the OTF of the atmosphere system so as to separate the influence of the atmosphere turbulence from the general imaging system. Photographing a number of short-exposure images (interferograms) of the observed star as the statistical data which includes the diffraction-limited information of the telescopes, we can get the full width at half maximum (FWHM) and the encircled energy (EE) of the telescope. So we can estimate the optical quality of the astronomical telescopes. The methods need no auxiliary equipments, which excels other testing ways.Firstly introduced are reasons leading to the degeneration of the images. Following introduced are the principles of traditional optical testing methods and the measurement of the atmosphere quality. The thirdly part of the paper is the discussion about the frequency characteristics of the imaging systems. Finally given are our detailed work results. We get the FWHM and EE of the Yunnan Observatory 1m optical telescope. Although there are lots of aspects we should improve compared with the traditional testing ways, the methods are convenient and effective.
