Based on the measurements of more than three-thousand karst collapse pillars exposed by excavating and mining engineering in the whole Xishan coalfield, and the geomorphological investigation and analysis of the upper reaches of Fenhe River, This research, from the view of geomorphology, karstology, sedimentary basin theory, tectonics, Quaternary geology and geology of collapse pillar, reveals the 3D morphology of collpase pillar forest in coal measure and structure-hydrology evolution in the whole Xishan coalfield.
