In this thesis, the author gives a new navigation scheme for the flight vehicle: Flight Dynamics Navigation Method (FDN) , and studies the principles of loading of digital map in the terrain auxiliary navigation.FDN uses the software (EM - Equations of Motion) to improve the navigation function of the original system, without any other navigation hardware. The numerical simulation results reveal that the navigation precision of FDN is much higher than the original system. FDN has more redundancy than the original system.The main efforts and contributions are summarized as follows:1. The author puts forward the concept of FDN, and analyzes its scope and characteristics.2. The modeling errors of the traditional Equations of Motion are analyzed. The small disturbance equations which include the modeling errors are deduced and its analytic solutions are deduced.3. The navigation algorithm of GPS system, the modeling errors and the simulation results are analyzed.4. Several integrated navigation modes about GPS/EM are analyzed. The equations of the state and observation of GPS/EM are deduced. The numerical simulation results of GPS/EM show the feasibility of GPS/EM system.5. The principle of loading of digital map in the terrain auxiliary navigation is studied. It is concluded that FDN plays an auxiliary role in the process of loading of digital map.6. It is proved that different selection of measurements in kalman filter has no effects on consequences in SITAN terrain auxiliary navigation.The design of FDN scheme and research of loading of digital map are given inthis thesis, which have certain innovation merit and instructive meaning for engineering application.
