With the development of such technologies as photoelectricity, CAD/CAM and optical 3D measurement profilometry, we have stepped into the informational and digital world. As an instance of reverse engineering, shoes measurement realiezes the digitalization of the shoes.It presented how the shoes measurement carried out in this paper. Mainly research was made on the calibration of this 3D measurement system using muti-sensor with line structured-illuminated laser and the processing of 3D reconstruction. What we have achieved are as following :1. An easy and accurate method of system calibrating the 3D optical multi-sensor profilometry with line structured-illuminated laser is proposed in this paper. This method can efficiently and fastly carry out the transform between CCD pixel coordinate and world coordinate while required only once measurement for the special model. However, it avoids the multifarious survey of the system parameters. As proved by experiments, the present method can effectively restrain the influence of speckle to the laser triangular measurement system and the obtained calibration accuracy is about 0.05mm within 100mm depth range.2. Two Methods of reducing the speckle noise and improving the depth resolution in optical 3D profilometry with laser sheet are proposed in the paper. Speckle is caused by object's micro-structure, with more less-correlated random structure co-interference in the imaging field, the speckle can be depressed greatly. As proved by experiments, combined the method of averaged in the plane and dynamic image capture ,the depth resolution can be double improved.3. With the difficulty to segment badly-illuminated structured images, we proposed a method based on the characteristic of laser sheet, and also we proposed a method of how to prune the thinning curves with much spikes and branches.
