A Study On The Land Use/Land Cover Change And Driving Mechanism In The Typical Region Of Yiluo River Drainage Basin

Since from 1990s, the Land Use/Land Cover Change (LUCC) is becoming the centers of the study of global change. With the LUCC studied deeply, the study of the driving mechanism of the LUCC is becoming one of the focuses of the LUCC study.By using of RS and GIS, the author firstly study the spatial change of the land use and land cover in Luoning County of Henan province, which is the case of the study, in virtue of TM image from 1987 to 1999, and then analysis the driving mechanism of the LUCC at the level of middle-scale and micro-scale by some methods. This paper is divided into seven parts.In the first part, the background of the LUCC, the selecting of the study case, the theoretical and practical importance as well as the study procedure of this paper is simply narrated.In the second part, the international and internal study development of getting and disposing the information about the LUCC, the human driving mechanism and model study of the LUCC are looked back. In the third part, the basic theory of the LUCC study including the concept of land use and land cover, the basic theory of the classification of the remote sensing image is firstly expatiated. And then the concrete methods, including getting the remote sense information, statistic method, selecting representative region and the participatory rural appraisal are introduced.In the forth part, the classification standard of land use and land cover isfirstly ascertained. And then the material process of getting the data of the LUCC from the study region by the RS and GIS are elucidated in detail. In the fifth part, on the basis of disposing the three sheet of digital image of TM in 1987, 1996 and 1999, the classification of land use and land cover and the matrix of land-use are worked out, and at the same time the spatial landscape characteristics of land use and the spatial-temporal feature and the time-temporal feature are analyzed. At the level of middle-scale author firstly analyzed the natural driving factor of the LUCC, and then study the human driving mechanism recurring to the social and economic statistic data about Luoning County by the statistic method. And at the level of micro-scale the author studied the human driving mechanism of the LUCC in selected village by participatory rural appraisal.In the final part, the conclusion of the study is simply summed up. And at the same time author puts forward several problems to be studied deeply.
