This paper discusses the shape optimization problem of 3-D elastic contact objects in theory using BEM, and analyses the real contact problem of bears and rolls. The author developed and made advanced the common program 3DCBEM, selected CVM as the optimize algorithm. A integrated shape optimization software system of 3-D elastic contact program based on 3DCBEM was constructed. This system was applied to solve several mechanical engineering problems, and the results were satisfied.
