Approximate Convertion Of Two Types Of Bézier Curves

This paper is about approximate convertion of Bezier curves and rational Bezier curves, including approximate degree-reduction and approximate merging. Chapter two introduces the methods to reduce one or more degrees of Be zier curves; Chapter three studys approximate merging of a pair of Bezier curves; in chapter four, the well-known methods of approximate rational Bezier curves with polymomials are given; in last chapter, a new method are presented to approximate a pair of rational Bezier curves.
