In order to study the anomaly pattern of summer rainfall in North China and the cause responsible for the anomaly , the climate characteristics of summer rainfall in North China and related circulation pattern of lower, middle and upper layer of prophase and the same time were analyzed in detail in this paper . The physics field characteristics of summer rainfall anomaly in North China were also be analyzed in this paper. More attention was paid on studying the relationship between Arctic sea-ice and summer precipitation anomaly in North China . Sea-ice anomaly could produce the anomaly of circulation pattern . By analyzing the anomaly of circulation pattern , we discussed the mechanism of sea-ice affecting rainfall in North China . The results are as follows:i There were interannual change and chronological change of summer rainfall in North China . There was consanguineous relationship between summer rainfall anomaly in North China and continual circulation anomaly from spring to summer . In dry (wet) year , Mongolia high was stronger (weaker), Indian low was later (sooner) and weaker (stronger) , Baikal blocking high was stronger (weaker) , Asian summer monsoon was weaker (stronger) , west Pacific subtropical high leaned toward north (south), east (west). In addition, homochronous physics field configure between upper layer and lower layer wasn't propitious to rainfall in North China in dry year . In wet year, the situation was opposite .ii The correlation coefficient were negative and high between summer rainfall in North China and sea-ice of Hudson Bay from May to August in the same year. Sea-ice of Hudson Bay in key time interval has negative relationship with index of Asian summer monsoon , positive relationship with the western subtropical ridge in west Pacific in August , and negative relationship with the intensity of the west Pacific subtropical in August . Sea-ice affected summer rainfall in North China by affecting Asian summer monsoon and west Pacific subtropical high , as was proved in this paper.iii Sea-ice of Hudson Bay also obviously affected circulation pattern of middle-high latitude . The anomaly of sea-ice in this area produced anomaly of circulation in middle -high latitude . There was an obvious wave train in high latitude area , its centers located at polar region surrounding Greenland island , East Siberian , and north Pacific . Rainfall would be affected by that wave train . At the same time ,sea-ice anomaly of Hudson Bay in May produced anomaly of geopotential height over Greenland in spring , and height anomaly would continued to summer . It would affected summer rainfall in North China.
