Research On Practical Methods Of The DEM Generation From InSAR

The Digital Elevation Model(DEM) generation from Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(InSAR) image is becoming one of the most important developing direction in Remote Sensing fields over the world. In this paper, techniques and methods of DEM generation from InSAR image are built based on existing algorithms from practical angle. And a improved phase unwrapping algorithm is proposed, which focuses on the defects of classical phase unwrapping algorithm. Then computer verification is put to them with the experimental data. The result shows that the DEM generated is improved in precision. Finally, detailed analysis for the error factors, which influence the DEM generation, is done.
