Stand tanks, spherical vessels and cylinder vessels, reactors are special facilities which are widely used in national produce, also, they have high accident frequency. AE testing technology, which is used more and more widely for solving the problems, expensive and long inspecting periods in general testing, is only adopted by the skilled inspector now for behindhand testing system, high orientation error and low quality orientation software. In addition, orientation error is very high in global vessel testing, also the software can not show location picture in three-dimension, all of these restrict the development of the AE technology. In the aspect of testing system, the Vallen corp. in German and the PAC(Physical Acoustic Company) in American, have researched on digital system using DSP(Digital Signal Processing) technology, but high price and designing thought are not fit to the situation of our country, so there is big gap between our technology and oversea's, this restricts the applied bound of our A E technology.Aiming at the problems in the orientation, evaluation anJ the testing system, in order to develop the AE source orientation technology, research the testing system fitting to the situation of our country, we carry out the study of new type of Acoustic Emission testing and technology of AE sources orientation with advanced electronics and computer technology, at the same time, carrying out the research of aptitude evaluation technique, get realization of convenience and visibility of AE technology. The research works finished in this paper are listed below:1.Solving the problem in testing of cylinder vessels that the sensors disposition is very rigorous, carrying out study of freewill triangle network orientation and linear orientation, bringing forward the discriminance which distinguish the validity of orientation array using character string method the first time, at the same time, solving the problems that judgement of orientation array, elimination of camouflage location, avoidance of repeat location, etc.1'.Carry ing out the study of the orientation of defects in stand lank floor with the method of freewill planar triangle orientation, advancing bran-new discriminance on the validity of orientation arrays, orientation points, and the disposing means of the acoustic sources near sensors and those near common border.3.Through the realization of orientation picture showing in three-dimension, solve the problem that there is no way to show how rr,any located points exist in a little region when the located pictures shown in ichnography.4.Seeking out typically AE characteristic parameters, with the experience on the tank testing of DQPl(Daqing Petroleum Institute) AE Testing and Structural Integrality Evaluating Lab., working out the software evaluating tank floor integrality grade, which can give out the tank grade automatically, achieve intellective evaluating.5.Carrying out the study of spherical surface freewill triangle orientation technology. Put forward the technology that locating the defects with spherical surface freewill triangle, estimating the validity of located points with the method of projection the first time. Through data processing in advance, etc, reduce the calculating tension. Solve a series of problems, especially the coordinate change of the sensors, located pointsbetween sphere coordinate and three-dimensional coordinate. With OpenGL program condition, achieve solid located picture, and data change between the OpenGL and Delphi. This software has been used on data processing of a spherical vessel whose volume is 1000m3 in field.6.Developing AE collecting card, get a minitype AE testing system. Solve the problems that data jam, collecting data. etc.. and work out a series of software accompanied to the testing system.
