It plays an important role to develop the low permeability oil field in advancing Chinese oil industry. It is essential to know exactly the oil reservoir characters and rule of fluid flow in porous media during the low permeability oil field development. In this paper, the main works are as follows:1.The character of porosity and permeability and porous flow rule have been studied systemically by core flooding and capillary experiment. The results indicate that the curve is concave when the velocity is very low.2.Motion equation of every kind of flow pattern in porous media is derived by simulated theory.3.The character of boundary layer at the wall of the pore is studied based on the physical and mechanical analysis of nonlinear porous flow. The results indicate that the flow is nonlinear which is caused by boundary layer. The influence of the boundary on the seepage flooding in low permeability porous media can't be ignored when the thickness of boundary layer reaches a critical value. The larger the thickness of boundary layer is, the more obvious the nonlinear flow is.4.Factors affecting boundary layer are studied systemically, the mathematical expression of porous flow based on the experiment is derived.
