So Geographic information system in city-application is an most hotest technology in software- industry recent years. Combine with the research production and tide on GIS domain, author bring forword some. personal view on how to design and implement the Geographic information system in Telecom with his one more years research and experience on GIS. The main topic of this thesis is geographic information integration and other related technology, discuss and analyes the space data and its mode. This thesis consists of three parts. The first part introduces the general structure of geographic information, explains some GIS concepts and explain the background to bring forward GIS in telecom. The second part introduces MapX based integration solution, which is a typical product of COM based GIS component.. Finally, it discusses the backgroud project, gis in telecom. The system structure of the project, and geographic information processing module are introduced particularly. Finally, a review is given in the end of this thesis.
