The Yueshan orefield which is geotectonically located at the northern margin of the Yangtze Paraplatform, is one of typical orefield in the skarn-veinlike hydrothermal type mineralization belt along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River area. By using theories of geochemistry, thermodynamics and geochemical dynamics, this paper studies on the course of the water-rock interaction in Yueshan orefield , classifies the process according to different temperatures ,also the paper discusses the different characteristics of each stage ,such as the source and the components of the fluid. Specially, the paper researches the characteristics, chemical interaction and the law of elements migrating of rock alteration of the water-rock interaction in the ore-forming process. The alteration of chemical types of the fluids at vertical direction and of the carbonate rocks components in stratum, and the relationship between the two alterations above after ore-forming are concerned on specially. The interaction time at each stage is defined, and the model of water- rock interaction in this area is founded. Also the article analyzes and predicts the result of the water-rock interaction at post ore-forming stage by utilizing GIS.
