AbstractThis paper is a design on experimental method which is used to detemine ratio of strontium (Sr) isotopes in carbonate .There is a shortage in traditional method that often makes the ratio greater than it's true value. The selective detemine techniques of Sr isotopes in carbonate minerals is a new method using weak acid. It's dissolve ability is hinted, so the cabonate can only be dissolved while the non-carbonate can not be dissolved. The method can prevent impurity from entering into solution, so the purity of Sr is raised, and that makes the ratio of Sr in carbonate minerals accurate. The main reaserchs include:Selecting best data of the concentration~ temperature and time of dissolve medium as using HAc to dissolve carbonate samples;Comparing the effect of different concertration preleach follow; Using a new indication in separation and puri(ication of Sr;Using a new method to remove Rb~ Ca that in high Rb/Sr and high Ca/Sr carbonate minerals respectively;Analyzing reasons that bring deviation in every measure;Disscuing the correlation theory that relate to the expremental method; The result by mass spectrometry analysis prove: new method is avail to treat carbonate samples. The data of Sr isotopes ratio indicates selective detemine techniques of Sr isotopes in carbonate minerals is available. I establish a whole expremental procedure.
