CBRP was injected into the wall of cloaca in the phasianus colchicus Linnaeus and traced with retrograde and transganglionic transpOrt. the result were as follows: 1. -The labeled primary afferent cell from the cloaca were located bilaterally in the nodose ganglia and spinal ganglia T4, of which ganglia S46 were the segments where the labeled cell were most numerous, and ganglia T71L1 next. there was a lessabeledellrea in the L32spinal ganglia. The labeled cell in spinal ganglia were Mainly small ones, while in the nodose ganglia were rincipally large. 2. Entering the S88 spinal cord; the labeled central processes of primary afferent neurons of the cloaca first appeared in the dorsolateral tract. In the transverse plane, these fibers were divided medial and lateral parts. The lateral fiber bundle was thicker and larger. The medial one was thinner and smaller. In the T72 can see some fiber ran along the lateral border of the dorsal horn. 3. The parasympathetic center of the cloaca was found in S ?S segments (Mainly 85). it was located chiefly in the column preganglionica sacralis.- Labeled sympathetic preganglionic neurons with long axons appeared in T62 spinal segments. most of them were located in Terni column. 4. The sympathetic postganglionic neurons innervating the cloaca originated from the paravertebrates ganglia, and the parasympathetic ones were in the cloacal ganglia, whereas the rear intestinal gangliamight contain both sympathetic and parasympathetic postganglionic neurons. 5. Each side of the cloaca was innervated by two sides of afferent and efferent nerve, but primarilly the ipsilateral side.
