Improved C₃ Coherence Algorithm And Application In Fault Interpretation

Interpretation of seismic attribute technology is the main technology of oil exploration and development.The three-dimensional coherence technology in recent years developes a rapid and practical interpretation of seismic attribute technology.It includes three-dimensional data volume discontinuity in the adjacent-channel seismic signal characteristics and the similarity between the interpretative process technology. It helps in three-dimensional seismic data to learn about the fault before the distribution of cases and shorten the cycle of three-dimensional seismic data interpretation and improve the efficiency and accuracy of interpretation. The technology takes advantage of three-dimensional data points for each sample information, avoiding the omission of small faults in the conventional interpretation.After the rise of Wavelet Transform in the 80s ,it is quickly used of the seismic data processing. M.Bahorich and other people calculate coherence cube in the whole band ,without taking into account the outstanding problem of a certain frequency band coherence.In 2006,Ye Zenglu introduces wavelet transform into the third generation of coherence technology and gets three-dimensional seismic data in different frequency bands,which improves interpretation precision and achieves fine interpretation to anomalous geologic bodies.But calculating maximal eigenvalue using power method in the third generation of coherence algorithm,which consumes more time and larger computation.In order to make up this shortcoming, this text gets maximal eigenvalue using super tract technology and rayleigh quotient acceleration method in the third generation of coherence algorithm,which minishes computation and saves us much time,which doesn't affect the accuracy.The tsxt proves its validity.
