Based on the analysis of macro geological elements and reservoir characteristics as well as other fundamental data, this paper carries on a serious of Multi-dimensional statistics on trap filling degree of Neogene reservoirs in Chengdao areas. Combined with dissectional researches of macro influential factors and micro mechanism, this paper analyzes the dominating factors of faults and cap rocks to ascertain the main control factors of trap filling degree of different plays. The analysis of fundamental data clearly manifests that the Neogene reservoir types of research areas are anticline-lithologic reservoirs, lithologic-fault reservoirs, fault-lithologic reservoirs, and lithologic reservoirs controlled by structural setting. By the accuracy of obtaining reservoirs parameters of different reservoir types, calculational methods of different reservoir types are ascertained. By analyzing reports, 92 reservoirs are calculated, showing that trap filling degrees are really different and determined by reservoir types, structural settings and different strata.According to the distribution of trap filling degree, the main macro control factors of trap filling degree are sedimentary faces and reservoir, hydrocarbon generation capacity of source, intensity of fault, and distance of oil migration. In different settings, trap filling degree is mainly controlled by fault sealing, thickness and quality of cap rock, and sand shape in the same. Based on the features of different reservoir types in different structural belts, the main control factors of trap filling degree in different settings and strata are illustrated. Trap filling degree of lithologic-fault reservoirs in major fault zone is mainly controlled by fault sealing, sand shape, and sealing capacity; Intensity of fault, sealing capacity, and sand shape are the main controlling factors of fault-lithologic reservoirs in major fault zone. Trap filling degree of lithologic reservoirs in slope zone and anticline-lithologic reservoirs in major fault zone is mainly controlled by sealing capacity, sand shape, and distance of oil migration.
