According to the spectra of cloud-to-ground(CG) lightning discharge channel have been captured by a Slit-less spectrograph in Qinghai and Tibet plateau, the electrical conductivities are calculated and, for the first time, the electron thermal conductivities and the electron thermal diffusivities are calculated by applying the transport theory of air plasma to the lightning channels. The results are compared with literature values, and in general, they are in satisfactory agreement. These transport characteristic parameters have added important value for further research on the current and energy of lightning discharge channel.Based on the works of CG lightning, the electron densities of the cloud lightning are studied by Saha equation. For the first time, the electrical conductivities, the electron thermal conductivities and the electron thermal diffusivities are calculated by applying the transport theory of air plasma to the cloud lightning channels. In addition, the changes of the parameters (the temperature, the electron density, the electrical conductivity, the electron thermal conductivity and the electron thermal diffusivity) along the discharge channel in one cloud lightning have been discussed. The result shows that the parameters have a trend of slightly decrease along the developing direction of the cloud lightning channel. And these parameters show suddenly change near the distortion and the branch of the lightning channel.Using a spectrum of lightning discharge channel between cloud and ground captured in Naqu, Tibet, the electron densities of the discharge plasma are studied by stark-broadening of H_α, H_βline, and the diagnosis method obtained by Gigosos, respectively. Meanwhile, the electron densities are also calculated by Saha equation and another broadening equation used before. Finally, the results are compared and analyzed. This work will provides basis for further researches on the diagnosis method of electron density and the properties of lightning plasma.
