With the continuous development of optical devices, the evaluation of imaging quality of the optical system is increasingly becoming an issue of public attention in the field of applied optics. In the comparison and analysis of advantages and disadvantages of various testing methods, people eventually find that the optical transfer function (OTF) method is a comparative objective and effective method to evaluate of imaging quality of the optical system. So, it's significance to measure the optical transfer function. The existing optical transfer function measuring instrument mainly measuring the modulate transfer function by the method of scanning and contrast, which inevitable loss the part of phase. To measure the complete OTF, we need to use interfere method to transform phase into a fixed light intensity, so this paper presents a method with Zernike polynomial fitting interferogram to measure the OTF.A major advantage of this method is that its laboratory equipment is simple and its experimental operate procedure is convenient, only need to gathering some pieces of interferogram based on the Michelson interferometer. In the subsequent image processing, we have established of a complete image processing system include image noise reduction, trimming and phase unwrapping. After that, we use Zernike polynomial to fit the phase diagram and eliminate the impact of reference by making some specific item to zero, and then the pupil function of the measured lens is get. At last, we get the OTF of the measured lens by do autocorrelation on t5hhi.8eg h×peu r1p l0iel?v 5feu l n aincntd it oh tneh. e iTn rdheueps emtaryet .t ahcocdu hraacsy h itgoh a p rseacmisei o lne,n sth ies r leelsasti v the afnit t0in.0g2 e, r rreoar cihsi nogn l yaFinally, the GUI of the measurement method is written by matlab, which integrates image processing, the process of fitting and self-correlation operation, making the operation more humane and alleviating the user's cognitive burden. It is more suitable for the individual user.
