Mineral resource is one of the significant material basics that maintain the development of human society, with the decreasing of outcrop mineral, it is more difficult to prospect day by day. As a result, it is pressing to find a method of metallogenic forecasting which catersfor current situation. This paper takes the case study of the research of three-dimensional visual prediction of Lead and Zinc deposit in Dingjiashan, and studies the extraction of three-dimensional modeling data, modeling database, model of mineral prediction etc.After analyzing the geological materials of Lead and Zinc deposit calculated for years, digital method of geological model and database modeling are worked out,combining Datamine and Vulcan software and modeling geological bodies such as fault, stratum, ore body, wire frame model and block model are obtained, then block model's grades are calculated; with all kinds of spatial analyses,which are trend modality analysis,undulate shape analysis, spatial distance analysis, gradient analysis and angle analysis,on TIN model of geological interface, ore-controlling factor variables are gained, and visualized them with Datamine or Vulcan; combining the project characteristics sufficiently, choosing an appropriate prediction model and uniting a certain boundary conditions such as boundary condition of ore-controlling, strata controlling, stereo cells, an efficient prediction is conducted on unknown region and the prediction results are saved in prediction results database. Finally, the results are displayed based on three-dimensional raster model.Taking the characteristics of voxel model and combining the formula of magnetic charge area surface integrals, a mathematical model calculating the total magnetic anomaly is made. Software development is conducted and the total magnetic anomaly of studying region is calculated, the respective contour maps of known mineralized bodies, prediction mineral bodies, known mineral general theory total magnetic anomaly are performed, and compared with the actual measured contour maps, the purpose of enhancing the result reliability of quantity prognosis of concealed ore bodies is realized.
