The sediment sources and sediment migration is one key content of collapse gullies'erosion research. According to the differences of the soil physical and chemical properties in each soil horizon of collapse gully, we used the fingerprint method to research the sediment sources and the regulation of sediment migration. Typical collapse gullies were selected in Anxi County, we collected soil in six caved wall by different soil horizon, and then selected eleven fingerprint factors by soil physical and chemical properties. Screen out the best fingerprint factor combination by analyze the variation in different soil horizon, and then analyze the sediment source in one sampling point. The main conclusion is as following:1. Analyze the variation characteristics of eleven fingerprint factors as different soil horizon, in which indicate that there are four more fingerprint factors have significant difference in different soil horizon. The research indicated that we can analyze the caved hillock sediment source in fingerprint method.2. Use no-parametric test and DFA in every sampling point, the result is that there are six more fingerprint factors have significant difference in different sediment seedbed, and the fingerprint factor can satisfied composite fingerprint method.3. Screen out the best fingerprint factor combination in every sample point by stepwise DFA method, and further screen results show that fingerprint factor K and C can as research area general fingerprint factor combination.4. Research the collapse gully sediment source in one sample point. Analyze sediment source of collapse of deposition and alluvial fan in multivariate mixed model, which indicated that the sediment contributions percentage of red soil horizon, sandy soil horizon and detritus horizon is 26.53%, 33.41% and 40.07% respectively in collapse of deposition, is 29.76%, 31.26% and 38.82% in CN1,is 31.78%, 32.97% and 35.38% in CN2, is 23.54%, 37.05% and 39.40% in CN3.The research indicated this sampling points is in process of collapse continuously, and the farther the distance collapse that wall of red soil sediment contribution rate reduced. In the later study not only to increase the number of fingerprint factors to sediment detailed study of migration patterns.
