Isolation, continuous and pulse vaccination are important strategies for the elimination of infectious disease. Isolation may have been the first infection con-trol method which reduces transmissions of the infection to susceptibles. But both continuous and pulse vaccination are the methods which enhance the im-mune power of human body to prevent infection. In this paper, a classical SIS model for a constant population is considered, and three types of mathematic models (SIS model with quarantine, SIS model with continuous vaccination or pulse vaccination) are formulated and analyzed in section 2. Furthermore, we compare the effect of the three models to eliminate the infectious disease. In section 3, another three types of mathematic models (SIS model with quarantine and continuous vaccination, SIS model with quarantine and pulse vaccination, SIS model with mixed vaccination) are formulated and analyzed. Moreover, we compared the effect of the three models to extinct the disease too. Finally, we formulated an SIS model with quarantine, continuous and pulse vaccination. The existence and global stability of the disease-free periodic solution are studied and its sufficient condition are obtained. Then a large number of numerical examples illustrated how can we choose the strategy to control the spread of the infectious disease.
