Rendering of ocean environment has important significance for game, marine surveying, marine drive and disaster succor. This thesis focus on wave modeling, ocean environment interaction and rendering of under seawater scene.First, wave spectrum model and Perlin-Noise were combined in order to simulate realistic wave. The paper also proposed nesting grids of wave, so the waves can be applied to large-scale simulation of ocean scene.Secondly, in addition to drawing the wave, the marine environment also includes the ship movement, terrain, weather and other important factors in the interaction. Motion model based on dynamics of the ship, level terrain mapping and efficient weather rendering system were discussed in detail.Thirdly, an efficient method to render caustic based on the combining of wire-frame mode and gauss filter is first proposed. Then a more realistic scattering phase function for under seawater used to model the scattering and calculate the seawater color. A cylinder-based shaft algorithm is presented to simulate the shaft light under seawater. Finally, the hierarchy optimize method and GPU accelerate technology are introduced to render different ocean scenes in real time. In addition, we created an ocean simulation system which supports parameter setting, virtual walkthrough, and output through several screens.
