Modification Methods For The Unconsistency Of The Positive Reciprocal Judgment Matrix And Its Application

AHP put forward in 1970s by T. L. Saaty of the American operational was a multi-decision making method. It makes man's subjective judgment be expressed and disposed using number, various plans'difference are represented using numerical, and the decision process are quantificated and layered according law of thinking. By using AHP, the actual problem is objectified and the qualitative problem is quantified, AHP has important research significance and application value at the aspects of mathematical model and engineering mathematic methods. The method in the past decades has been widely and enrich developed, and been applicated in many fields.This paper studied and discussed the modification methods for the unconsistency of the positive reciprocal judgment matrix in AHP, the main research work are as follows:Firstly, the background of analytic hierarchy process are stated, and the research progress of scale and consistency in the analytic hierarchy process is reviewed, then the advantages and disadvantages of analytic hierarchy process are analyzed. Secondly, the basic principle and steps of classical analytic hierarchy process are summarized. Thirdly, the terminology consistency of positive reciprocal judgment matrix is given. Besides we have established the relationship between ordinal consistency and satisfactory consistency. Finally Modification methods for the unconsistency of two different positive reciprocal judgment matrix are studied and discussed For the first method, as an example, we give analysis on the problem of reasonable use of enterprise funds, to explain the method on consistency modifition of judgment matrix and the validity and usefulness of it. For the other method, we give the algorithm and examples. The two kinds of methods effectiveness and feasibility are explained respectively too.
