Since the early 90s of the 20th century, three-dimensional geological modeling to study related areas by the extensive attention of many scholars.and environmental geology. geotechnical engineering. mineral resources. oil and gas exploration and other fields has become a hot topic.3D geological attribute simulation is an important part of 3D geological modeling. It is an important method to express the inner information of geology body availably. And it can reveal the spatial distribution, change discipline and the relation among different parameters.Now people pay more attention to Digital Mine because it has been putting forward and putting into practice. Owing to this situation the 3D geological attribute simulation of Digital Mine gains better developing chance and larger developing space. How to describe the geological attribute parameters effectively and directly perceived through the senses is the hotspot of 3D geological attribute simulation.3D geological attribute modeling and visualization of Digital Mine becomes tendency of Digital Mine's development.My thesis aims at geological attribute data, and use three-dimensional spatial interpolation methods and volume visualization technology to reconstruct the 3D geological parameter volume model and describe its real three-dimensional feature. So as to deepen the awareness with 3D geological attribute simulation and provide train of thought for 3D geological attribute modeling and visualization of Digital Mine.This paper systematically induces, sums up, improves and develops 3D data model, volume reconstruction method and volume visualization of Digital Mine. And also deepens the awareness of the 3D geological attribute modeling and visualization of Digital Mine. The thesis absorbs domestic and overseas forefront techniques of 3D geological attribute simulation. According to the main subject what is simulating 3D geological attribute model efficiently, this paper analyses the bottleneck of the 3D geological attribute simulation and enunciates the resolve methods and process for it. It succeeds in solving a series of technical problems which the 3D geological attribute simulation faces with. Furthermore, it corroborates the practicality of these methods through the instances. The main research of this thesis is as follows:(1)In order to overcome the limit of traditional modeling methods for large-scale data, the paper proposes a fast search algorithm for sample points by their special spatial distribution. It significantly improves the efficiency of volume modeling.(2)Uses block method to surmount the limit of internal memory for large-scale data. It overcomes the large-scale data modeling process of system memory-constrained problems, and strengthens the memory rational use.(3) This paper proposes that use inverse distance weighted method to calculate value of the centroid and tetrahedron subdivision to improve the model precision.The researches in my thesis perform the investigation of 3D geological attribute modeling and visualization for digital mine, and provide the experiences for the development of 3D geological attribute simulation.
