Along with the development of china's economy and the expansion of city's scale, the building in city are getting bigger and higher. But the positioning and navigation in these big building is still a problem. GPS signal can't reach into the building; Positioning based on cellular system's accuracy is low. All of existed positioning system can't provide service to indoor situation.In this thesis, with RFID technology, propose an innovative indoor positioning design. Redesign the traditional GIS system to adapt to the special architecture of building. In the end, implement the system comprised of the positioning system and newly-designed GIS system.The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the background of Indoor Positioning and Navigation System and my work in this project. The second and third chapters introduce GIS and RFID technology, and give some applications based on these technology. Chapter four focus on the design of the system, the whole system is divided into two subsystems, the map-browsing system and locating system. Then, the fifth chapter gives the implementation of the system which is developed by C# and Arc Engine. The last chapter describes the testing of the system and gives a testing report. |
