Magnetic prospecting, as one of the earliest method in geotechnical investigation and surveying, is widely used and development at various stages of the geological survey. Its advantages are low cost, high efficiency and convenient operation without many constraints. Magnetic measurement has worked well in quick looking for basic and ultrabasic magma and played great role in delineation of ore deposits. The theory of two-dimensional forward calculation of magnetic anomaly and the finite element was described in detail according to the basic theory of magnetic method, data processing and interpretation and related geological knowledge. On the basis of the collection of magistrate bounded copper and nickel ore channels of gravity from Tongdao county in hunan province, Two-dimensional forward calculation of magnetic anomaly under rugged terrain,the paper studied the multiple profiles of surveyed area by the two-dimensional ups and downs terrain attributions of magnetic anomaly and gave prospecting Suggestions for actual Fixed-point prospecting providing favorable tools.At the conclusion of predecessors' achievements and teacher's guidance, the main research contents of paper divided into the following several respects:First, Preliminary system studied the basic theory of two-dimensional forward calculation of magnetic anomaly, finite element and numerical calculation theory in order to lay a solid theoretical basis for the inversion.Second, Tongdao Copper and nickel exploration in hunan province was taken as a case study for the detailed survey of the region's geological and geophysical data and physical sex determination results. Many geophysical exploration achievements of 2d figure was made for magnetic two-dimensional and explanation and inference giving important information。Third, according to geophysical exploration observation data, geological data and physical property from the copper and nickel ore detailed survey project, this paper established magnetic body forward model and get the forward results of several magnetic method profile. Explanation and deduction of magnetic anomaly was given for the next step prospecting direction to provide the basis in combination with geological material.
