Objective:Through the research on the Micromorpholopy, organization and distribution of cercus of Gryllus bimaculatus, we will discuss the types and functions of Gryllus bimaculatus, and further explore the physiological significance of insect receptors. Methods:Observe the monopoly of cercus of Gryllus bimaculatus under entity dissecting microscope. Photograph with MOTICAM1300 digital camera. Observe gryllus bimaculatus through SEM, take the record and make comparative analysis; study the distribution of ganglion impar neurons in brain with the methods of retrograde nickel chloride and silver staining. Results:There are five types of receptors of cercus of Gryllus bimaculatus including clavate hairs sensilla, filiform sensilla, chaetica sensilla, campaniform sensilla, a new type sensilla. The distribution, monopoly and function of each receptor vary from each other.Rod-shaped receptor dominates the inside base of cercus of Gryllus bimaculatus. the existence of other receptors can rarely be seen. The filiform sensilla dominates the outside base of cercus of Gryllus bimaculatus, and chaetica sensilla could also be seen a little, basically no clavate hairs sensilla could be found there; chaetica sensilla is the main receptor in the middle of cercus of Gryllus bimaculatus especially the inside part, there is a certain amount of filiform sensilla outside the cercus of gryllus bimaculatus, rod-shaped objects tend to end direction at a certain angle. In cercus of female Gryllus bimaculatus, we find a new type of receptor,,about 400-700μm long, similar to filiform sensilla, but the different is that there are rosary-like protrusion. It often occurs in the tail tip, not too much of it, and the function is unclear, because it is not found in male Gryllus bimaculatus, it is possible to infer that such receptor is related to spawning behavior such as breeding and so on. The main receptor of cercus of Gryllus bimaculatus is chaetica sensilla, filiform sensilla can be occasionally found, but the angle toward which the shafts tend to be the end becomes smaller, the closer to the edge, the smaller the rod-shaped objects tend to the cercus.Tail must sensor at the end of the projection of the abdomen paraganglioma most distribution in abdomen the fiber of the bottom side of paraganglioma, fiber no line part, small across ganglia nerve fibers in the midline projected to compare two dyeing deep fiber pathway, a little neurons in at the end of the distribution of paraganglioma lower period abdominal, in which the line is in only see a perikaryon. At the end of the abdomen ganglion bottom side end has fewer neurons appear, dorsal including a fiber branch. Based on the tail must sensor lawsuit, the projected onto the fiber more ganglion abdominal projected onto the ventral, a few onto dorsal.
