Since the 21 st Century, along with the ability of exploitation strengthen and the speed of mining development accelerating,the shortage condition of the major mining resource(Au Ag Cu etc.) in China is increasingly outstanding. Strengthening the exploration of mineral resource, especially prospecting in the deep part and the periphery area of the mines has been urgent matter.Although geological prospecting has obtained great progress recently, along with the degree of exploration and mining increasing continuously, the difficulty of prospecting has also increased day by day. Such as surface ore, the mineral of middle eastern part of china has already proved basically or mining. Therefore, searching the hidden ore,the blinded ore and the ore in the western china is more important. It is to be emphasis on prospecting work, and it will become important direcation of searching new resource reserves in future.This study is proposed on the background above. Some new methods and technology of geology and geochemistry are using during researching. The authors study the geological features, the ore-control factors and structure of the ore deposits, futher discuss the geological features, the ore-control factors of Au and the mineralization enrichment regularity. Then along the majority, guide geological prospecting of the new round.Hongliu gold deposit is located in the west of Tianshan-Yinshan latitudinal structural belt, and it is quartz vein type gold deposit. Based on the study of the geological features of the ore deposits, the authors suggest that the ore-control factors are lithology, structure and magmatism, and also sum the mineralization enrichment regularity:1) the gold ore bodies generally distribute along the medium grade and high grade metamorphic belts.2)When the gold ore bodies distribute in the mid-grade metamorphic rocks or schist, the strike of veins is basically in accordance with that of the strata, and the extending length of veins is large, but the gold grade is relatively low, so it often forms low-grade gold ore bodies of relatively large-scale.3) When the gold ore bodies distribute in the high-grade metamorphic rocks or migmatite, the strike of veins is near-vertical with that of the strata, and the extending length of veins is small, but the gold grade is relatively high, so it often forms small and rich gold veins. And 4) It often forms rich gold pocket veins when the veins is in the crossed place of the NW and NE ore belts.
