Quantum information theory, a combination of information theory and quantum mechanics, has greatly developed in the past thirty years. It has tremendous potential applications and provides us with special perspectives on both information theory and quantum physics.The quantum computer, quantum cryptograph and quantum communication are the three main fields of quantum information science, in which quantum coherence plays the most important parts. The superiority of quantum information theory comes from quantum coherence. However, in the process of qubit operation, for the environment influence, the quantum coherence will inevitably decay very quickly with time, which is called quantum decoherence, an unsolvable problem in quantum information theory. It is believed that quantum decoherence will bring about quantum error, therefore, the introduction of quantum error code is required.Quantum error-correcting encoding is a method which uses quantum state to encode the qubit. And it is based on the quantum entanglement.The main contents of this paper are:1. To study the entanglement of stabilizer codewords and propose an iterative algorithm to determine the exact value of the entanglement.2. To discuss the special stabilizer code which is called graph state and choose 10-qubit graph state to calculate the entanglement.3. To give the values of the entanglement for quantum error-correcting stabilizer codewords from n=4 to n=30("n" represent code length).
