Study On Marx’s Theory Of Economic Crisis And Its Contemporary Value

Marx?s theory of economic crisis is an important part of Marx?s political economy,an important theoretical foundation of scientific socialism,and one of the important theories in the Theoretical system of Marxism.Meanwhile,it is also one of the emphases and difficulties of Marxist theory education.This paper aims to study Marx?s theory of economic crisis and its contemporary value.Since the first general overproduction crisis occurred in the capitalistic world in1825,the economic crisis has never stopped its steps.With the development of globalization of economy,the economic relations between countries in the world are closer,and the economic crisis has the significant impact on capitalist countries and the global economy.The periodic outbreak of capitalist economic crisis confirms the scientificity,truthfulness,foresight and vitality of Marx’s economic crisis theory.However,some scholars deny the "existence" and "integrity" of Marx’s economic crisis theory,However,some scholars deny the "existence" and "integrity" of Marx’s economic crisis theory,and spread the "outdated theory" of Marx’s economic crisis theory.In order to clarify the understanding of Marx’s theory of economic crisis,it is urgent for academic circle to make a more in-depth study of Marx’s exposition on economic crisis on the basis of previous studies,closely contacting with the reality of contemporary capitalism,so as to excavate its contemporary value.This paper starts with tracing the origin of Marx?s theory of economic crisis by using the methods of historical materialism,materialist dialectics,document analysis,comparative analysis,the combination of abstraction and demonstration,and the unity of logic and history,and makes an in-depth study on its evolution process,textual implication,historical status and contemporary value.In the beginning of tracing the source of Marx’s economic crisis theory,this paper analyzes the economic,political and cultural conditions of the formation of Marx’s economic crisis theory,and expounds the direct ideological origin of Marx’s economic crisis theory—the economic crisis theories and thoughts of French and English economists such as sismondi and Malthus,and French and English utopian socialist thinkers such as Saint-Simon,Fourier and Owen.Based on the careful investigation of the formation conditions and evolution process of Marx’s economic crisis theory,the formation and evolution process of Marx’s economic crisis theory is divided into five stages for the first time: the gestation stage;germination stage;formation stage;enrichment stage and perfection stage.By using literature analysis and other methods,this paper combs Marx’s important discourses on economic crisis scattered in his works,interprets and analyzes Marx’s theoretical elements about economic crisis and their logical relations,points out that Marx’s economic crisis theory is a basically complete theoretical system,and analyzes its four basic characteristics: the unity of abstractness and empirical,critical and transcendence,scientificness and people’s character,integrity and openness.This paper demonstrates the important position of Marx?s economic crisis theory in Marx?s political economy system from three dimensions: the problem of crisis is the focus and focus of Marx in the study of political economy,crisis analysis is the logical main line running through Marx?s political economy system,and the function of economic crisis theory in Marx?s political economy system.Furthermore,it analyzes the supporting role of this theory to the scientific socialism theory,the leading role to the proletarian revolutionary movement and the guiding role to the establishment of the socialist system.This paper analyzes and demonstrates the contemporary value of Marx?s theory of economic crisis by Closely connected with the reality of contemporary capitalism and socialism.It argues that Marx?s theory of economic crisis provides a scientific guide for understanding and grasping the law of contemporary capitalist development,provides an applicable analytical paradigm for the study of the contemporary world economic and social development,provides an inexhaustible rational source for the generation of contemporary related new subjects,provides a scientific research perspective for deeply analyzing the world economic crisis,which has an important guiding and enlightening significance to the steady,coordinated,healthy,high-quality and sustainable development of the socialist economy with Chinese characteristics.Through research,it is found that Marx?s economic crisis theory still hasstrong explanatory power,foresight,guidance and vitality.It is untenable to deny the "existence" and "integrity" of Marx’s economic crisis theory and the so-called "outdated theory" of Marx’s economic crisis theory.Studying Marx?s theory of economic crisis is of great significance in guiding,enlightening and inspiring us to strengthen our communist ideal and faith,to enhance our confidence in the path,theory,system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and to stride forward on the journey of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
