Since the establishment of new China,China’s telecom industry has completed the development path from "catching up" to "parallel" and then to "leading",and has become a fundamental and strategic industry in China.However,the development of the telecom industry is not always smooth and often encounters various difficulties and challenges.After literature research,the paper considers that,at present,China’s telecom industry is facing a complex development environment:(1)Contradiction between supply and demand that fine demand for telecom service the contradiction from users conflicts with the coarse-grained service provision mode from telecom operators;(2)Revenue dilemma that telecom operators are gradually marginalized in the value chain and their profitability is weakened;(3)Double opportunities that firstly,the development of intelligent technologies creates favorable conditions for technological innovation and secondly,services growth from vertical industries,such as self-driving,intelligent manufacturing,telemedicine,VR,etc.,brings potential profit growth points.In addition to the above realistic background,in terms of relevant theoretical research,the service provision mode theory and pricing theory of services need to be developed according to the dynamic development of telecom industry and telecom network,while the existing relevant theories are obviously lagging behind.Under the above background,the paper explores the direction and countermeasures to promote the sustainable development of telecom industry/operators and enriches relevant theoretical research work.Based on innovation theory,synergetic theory and dissipative structure theory,the paper constructs a collaborative innovation development model between technology and business model in telecom industry.According to the analysis of the achievement degree of the innovation goal of the model,the paper considers that the telecom industry is in an unstable state of transition from the old mode to the new mode.Then,with the research objectives of "seizing opportunities","responding to challenges" and "overcoming difficulties",focusing on the problem of "what is the new mode",the paper proposes a novel service provision mode named Multidimensional Customization of Telecom Services for Each User,and it is considered as the future evolution direction of the telecom service provision mode.Through the analysis of historical development data and examples of telecom industry,a conclusion can be drawn that technological innovation,business model innovation and whether they are synergistic are crucial to the development of the telecom industry play an important role in the development of telecom industry.Taking the collaborative innovation of technology and business model as the research perspective,applying multidisciplinary theory to carry out comprehensive research,including microeconomics,game theory,marketing,pricing theory and regulation economics theory of social science and the telecommunication technology theory,intelligent technology theory,modularization theory,computer software technology and graph theory of natural science,using literature research method,comparative research method,case analysis method,quantitative research method,simulation experiment method,the paper makes a systematic and in-depth research on the proposed novel service provision mode and related theories.The main points and conclusions of the paper are as follows:(1)The mode of Multidimensional Customization of Telecom Services for Each User is the inevitable evolution direction of telecom service provision mode.With the economic development and social progress,users’ pursuit of personalized products or services is a common development trend of all industries.At present,as the main mode of telecom service provision,Mass Customization has the limitation that the customizable type is seriously insufficient,which leads to the contradiction between the traditional coarse-grained service provision mode and the new requirements from users or telecom services in the new stage of development of the telecommunications industry represented by 5g.The novel service provision mode proposed in the paper is a fine-grained and multi-dimensional customization model for each user,which fully considers the differentiated requirements of users and the differentiated characteristics of services.It is a novel mode conforming to the current and future development trend of telecom services.The paper finds that the mode of Multidimensional Customization of Telecom Services can not only comply with the development requirements of the telecom service itself,but also help to solve the practical business faced by telecom operators.(2)The perspective of systematic research is conducive to a more comprehensive study of the novel service provision mode.A large number of historical development data and examples of the telecom industry prove that both technological innovation and business model innovation play a key role in promoting the development of the telecom industry,and they have a synergistic relationship of mutual interaction.In order to discuss the novel mode more comprehensively,the paper adopts the perspective of collaborative innovation of technology and business model to carry out research.From the perspective of technological innovation,based on modularization theory,the paper designs the technological implementation architecture and service completion process under the novel service provision mode.From the perspective of business model innovation,applying multi-disciplinary theory,the paper carries out multi-angle research,including profit increment function and its influencing factors,income matrix under different strategy choices,and personalized dynamic pricing model under the "3C+G" four-element pricing structure.While providing solutions for the development of telecom industry,it also enriches the research system of telecom service pricing theory.(3)The realization of Multidimensional Customization of Telecom Services Mode needs to balance the contradiction between customization degree and customization cost.The solution of the contradiction requires the introduction of disruptive technological innovation.For a long time,the realization of finely customizing products(services)is subject to the contradiction between the degree of customization and customization cost.Referring to the viewpoints of Ulrich Sendler in Industry 4.0 and Klaus Schwab in The New Industrial Revolution on the implementation of refined customization mode,the paper proposes to solve the customization cost problem caused by novel service provision mode with the help of emerging intelligent technologies.From the perspective of technological innovation,by integrating emerging technologies such as big data,cloud computing,artificial intelligence,Internet of things,network slicing(combined with SDN/NFV),based on the modular theory,the paper designs the physical implementation architecture and logical function architecture,automated service completion process,humanlike intelligent interactive process between users and the platform,as well as multi dimension billing system,in order to reduce costs and improve efficiency.(4)With the development of 5G and future 6G,businesses from vertical industries will continuously emerge and grow,bringing rare development opportunities for the telecom industry.The smooth development of enterprise services from vertical industries needs to meet two conditions.Firstly,services from different industries and fields have multi-dimensional and differentiated requirements on network performance.Secondly,enterprise services from vertical industries generally need stable and reliable communication quality,especially high-level services such as intelligent manufacturing and telemedicine.However,the non-storage characteristics of telecom services lead to their dynamic and sudden characteristics,which requires an effective network resource allocation mechanism to make different services meet their needs.The paper argues that through a reasonable pricing mechanism,with price as leverage,users can adjust the rational use of network resources,paving the way for the development of high-level services.Therefore,the paper proposes a personalized dynamic pricing model under the four-element structure of "3C+G",through price constraint and price incentive,promoting the balance of the use of network resources which is an improvement on the current static and flat pricing function.At the same time,the paper also designs a charging mode that matches the price function,which divides the cost into two parts of prepaid and postpaid,corresponding to the expected indicators and actual quality of the service respectively.The mechanism can adapt to the dynamic characteristics of telecom services.(5)In order to verify the operation effect of the novel service provision mode,the network simulation experiment of the mode is carried out in the paper.According to the analysis of the simulation data,it can be concluded that the new mode gives users full freedom of service customization and organically combines the real needs of users with the scientific allocation of network resources under the incentive of service price function,so as to realize the on-demand allocation of network resources.Compared with the existing mode,the new mode can effectively reduce the network blocking rate,improve the utilization rate of network resources,and make the limited network resources play a higher efficiency and value.The conclusion shows that the novel service customization mode is beneficial to both users and telecom operators,and helps to achieve a win-win result between users and operators.Through a systematic and in-depth research of Multidimensional Customization of Telecom Services for Each User proposed in the paper,the innovation points of the study are mainly reflected in the following aspects.The first is the innovation of research perspective and research method,adopting systematic research perspective and interdisciplinary research paradigm.Different from the existing single perspective research paradigm that generally only focuses on one aspect of the telecom industry,based on the characteristics of both "technology intensive" and "business driven" in the telecom industry,the research adopts the research perspective of collaborative innovation of technology and business model,which makes the research results more systematic and have higher reference value.In line with the development trend of big science and knowledge economy,the research promotes the research of Multidimensional Customization of Telecom Services for Each User from the perspective of multi-disciplinary integration.The research has absorbed the profound accumulation of multi-disciplinary research paradigm and methodology,which makes the research have the distinct characteristic of interdisciplinary cross integration.The research adopts the idea of interdisciplinary research of social science and natural science,including theories of social science such as microeconomics theory,game theory,market marketing,pricing,and the theory of regulation economics,and natural science theories such as the theory of telecommunication technology,intelligent technology,modular theory,computer software technology,graph theory,and so on.It enriches the paradigm of interdisciplinary research in the telecom field,guarantes that the work of the paper can be carried out in depth,and promotes the overall thinking of the integration of social science and natural science.The second is theoretical innovation.The research advances the research progress of telecom service provision mode theory and telecom service pricing theory,making them more suitable for the latest developments and future development trends of the telecom industry.After literature investigation and inductive analysis,the paper concludes that the telecom service provision mode has experienced three forms:undifferentiated service provision mode,diversified service provision mode and Mass Customization mode.Based on the comprehensive study of the development law and trend of telecom service provision mode,the paper proposes a novel service provision mode named Multidimensional Customization of Telecom Services for Each User.The new mode conforms to the requirements of current and future service development,which enriches the theory of telecom service provision mode.The traditional telecom service pricing method is too static and flat to adapt to the rapid development and changes of telecom industry,and cannot play the leverage role of price leverage to "cut the peak and fill the valley" for the uneven use of the telecom network.Based on the development requirements of services and network,supported by technological innovation,the paper proposes a personalized dynamic pricing model under the four-element structure of "3C+G",which determines the service price based the service’s dynamic attributes,gives play to the leverage of the price to promote the balanced use of network resources,and is conducive to the realization of telecom regulation objectives and the growth of operators’ profits.The third is the innovation at the practical level.The research proposes a design for the realization path of the new service provision mode.Focusing on the problem of how to realize Multidimensional Customization of Telecom Services for Each User,the paper gives in-depth thinking and design from two aspects.The first is how to realize the mode technically through effective innovation activities,and the second is how to solve the inherent contradiction between customization degrees and customization costs in terms of cost and efficiency.Aiming at the goal of technological innovation to promote the realization of the new mode,the paper designs the implementation architecture and implementation process of the new mode from multiple perspectives,including the physical implementation architecture,the functional implementation architecture,the automated service customization process,the "anthropomorphic" interaction process between users and intelligent cloud management and control platform,the multi-dimensional billing system,etc.Focusing on the contradiction between the degree of customization and the cost of customization,the paper proposes to improve the efficiency of service customization and reduce the cost of customization depending on the disruptive technological innovation of the emerging intelligent technologies.The fourth is to combine theoretical research with practical problems.The greatest value of theoretical research lies in scientifically guiding practice.The research organically combines the theoretical research on telecom service provision mode,personalized dynamic pricing,the relationship between customization degree and customization cost with solving the practical problems of the contradiction between supply and demand and revenue dilemma faced by the telecom industry,and provides solutions to the practical problems faced by the telecom industry while promoting the in-depth development of theoretical research.In terms of research paradigm,it achieves the harmonious unity between theoretical research and solving practical problems.
