College students are the backbone to realize people’s yearning for a better life,representing the future and hope of the country and nation.Colleges and universities shoulder the fundamental task of cultivating people for the party,the state and the people.This article is based on the perspective of Marxist theory,based on the implementation of the fundamental task of setting up morality and cultivating people in colleges and universities,starting from the natural relationship between education and individuals and human beings,as well as between ideological and political education and a better life.The thesis puts forward that ideological and political education is related to people and college students’ better life in the future.Starting from caring for the realization of a better life for college students in the future and focusing on their free and comprehensive development,taking into account the actual needs of contemporary college students’ growth,it constructs the theory and practice of the education of "The concept of a better life" for college students in the new era.From the perspectives of educational practice guidance,establishment of operational mechanisms,establishment of basic principles,improvement of educational content,innovation of educational methods,and optimization of educational paths,it can help improve the effectiveness of the "the concept of a better life" educational practice for college students in the new era and provide direction guidance,thought and action guidance for college students to pursue and realize a better life.To study the education of "the concept of a better life" for college students in the new era,it is necessary to first trace the evolution of "the concept of a better life" education in the new era from the perspective of human life,and analyze the current characteristics and problems of many scholars’ educational research on "the concept of a better life".It is also necessary to clarify the background of the appearance of "the concept of a better life" education for college students in the new era,and explore its origin and evolution from the vicissitudes of Chinese civilization,the mission of national rejuvenation,and the beautiful vision of personal life.This article explains the basic connotation of "the concept of a better life" from the five development dimensions of economy,politics,culture,society,and ecology in the new era,and analyzes "the concept of a better life" and its education characteristics accordingly,laying a theoretical foundation for the educational research of "the concept of a better life" for college students in the new era.The exploration of educational theory takes the excellent traditional Chinese culture as the background,the Marxist theory of individual free and comprehensive development as the foundation,and the discussion of personal better life in the new era theory of sinicization of Marxism as the core.The value of education explains the clear positioning of "the concept of a better life" of college students in the new era in helping to build a stable country with a better life,building a harmonious society with a better life,educating virtuous individuals with a better life,and building a community of human beings with a better life from the four levels of the country,society,individuals,and humanity.The goal of education is to form a scientific understanding of the better life of college students in the new era by cultivating the correct three outlooks,review the positive emotions generated by the ideal of human social life,improve the ability and literacy of a better life based on the current era,and look forward to the great practice of firm and better life in the future of mankind,so as to establish its educational goal system and provide practical action guide for the education of "the concept of a better life" for college students in the new era.The practice research takes the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,the educational thoughts of the Marxism–Leninism classical texts and advanced educational theories in ancient and modern Chinese and foreign educational and cultural sciences as the theoretical guidance for the educational practice of "the concept of a better life" for college students in the new era.Efforts should be made to improve the practical content of "the concept of a better life" education for college students in the new era from six aspects: healthy physical and mental qualities,strong political awareness,excellent learning habits,noble moral qualities,broad international vision,and diverse types of role models.In the process of education,we should actively explore the basic principles of educational practice of "the concept of a better life" for college students in the new era,and adhere to the basic principles of unity between human nature and subjectivity,unity between purpose and guidance,unity between science and value,unity between pertinence and innovation,unity between comprehensiveness and effectiveness,and unity between coherence and systematicness in educational practice,so as to provide reference suggestions and basic guidelines for the educational practice of "the concept of a better life" for college students in the new era.Through questionnaires and interviews,empirical research analyzes "the concept of a better life" and its current education situation,discovers its existing problems and significant characteristics,and provides accurate information and practical basis to better carry out "the concept of a better life" education in colleges and universities.In the new era," the concept of a better life" of college students generally presents correct value orientation,healthy and upward content,and positive and enterprising attitude.They are a generation of people who love life,are optimistic,open and confident,pursue their dreams bravely and have a bright future.They are keen to discuss the corresponding content of a better life and pay high attention to "the concept of a better life" in the new era.However,their correct understanding of the connotation of "the concept of a better life" is not high,and their knowledge and conceptual system of "the concept of a better life" lacks deep understanding and practical use.There are many negative factors in the formation of college students’ "concept of a better life",such as deviation or lack of family influencing factors,omissions or misleading in the school education system,impact or inducement of social reality issues,misconceptions or errors in personal life cognition,differences or miscalculations in personal life experience,etc.,resulting in some practical problems in the education of college students’ "concept of a better life",such as the educational mechanism is not working smoothly,the educational method is not well chosen,the educational path is not well chosen,and the educational elements are not performing well,etc.Finally,in view of the practical problems existing in the research,the author ponders on the implementation countermeasures of "the concept of a better life" education for college students in the new era.Firstly,starting from the practical mechanism construction of "the concept of a better life",we should systematically improve an implementation mechanism for "the concept of a better life" education for college students in the new era,using the external mechanism of trinity joint education,the internal mechanism of personal internal moral cultivation and self reflection,and the integrated mechanism of life practice experience reflection.Secondly,we should innovate the implementation mode of "the concept of a better life" education for college students in the new era.The implementation mechanism is based on the "three comprehensive education" system,the implementation process is led by ideological and political education,the implementation field is based on multi-dimensional path integration,and the implementation effect is guided by evaluation and assessment standards.We also should grasp the main channel for instilling guidance in the ideological and political classroom when instilling ideas,integrate professional theoretical learning and practical training into the platform when improving their abilities,use campus culture to construct a multi-dimensional path for educating people with literature when enriching their content,give play to the efficiency of the guidance of model figures and peer demonstration when practicing and understanding,and attach importance to the combined force of socialist core values education when practicing and applying to optimize the implementation path of "the concept of a better life" education for college students in the new era.Thus,it can systematically create a good atmosphere for "the concept of a better life" education among college students in the new era,and promote the effectiveness of educational practice.
