people-centered education development is an important part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.Focusing on the major issues related to China’s education development,such as what kind of development and how to develop education in the new era,the people-centered thought runs through a series of important ideas,viewpoints and thoughts formed in the whole process of education development.It is a relatively complete theoretical system,and also the core content of Xi Jinping’s important exposition on education development,which includes the following related expositions: taking moral education as the basic task,serving the people as the basic position,cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality,intelligence,beauty and labor as the educational path,taking the people as the main force on which education development depends,and taking people’s satisfaction as the evaluation standard of education development.This paper focuses on Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered education development,insists on the unity of history and logic and the combination of theory and socialist modern power in an all-round way.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,in the process of promoting the people-centered development of education,China has insisted on giving priority to education in a strategic position,taking strengthening the Party’s overall leadership over education as the fundamental guarantee for education development,taking education equity as the basic policy,taking the all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor as the educational goal,leading the high-quality development of education with reform and innovation,taking the construction of teachers as the basic work,constantly expanding education opening to the outside world,and making historic achievements and changes in education.However,there are still many urgent and anxious problems in the field of education that have not been fundamentally solved.The development of people-centered education still faces some practical difficulties,such as the problem of "involution" of education,the overall layout of educational resources is not balanced enough,the scientific system of educational evaluation has not yet been formed,the overall quality of educational development needs to be improved,and the construction level of teachers still needs to be improved,which restricts the development of people-centered education to some extent.On the new journey,to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered development of education,we should base ourselves on the new situation and new characteristics of the new era,aim at the realistic dilemma faced by people-centered development of education,and adhere to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide in accordance with the deployment made by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to promote the integrated development of education,science and technology and talents and the new requirements for running a satisfactory education for the people.Guided by promoting more and fairer educational achievements to benefit all the people,driven by deepening comprehensive reform in the field of education,taking the path of accelerating the improvement of the education system for all-round cultivation of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor,supported by building a team of high-quality professional and innovative teachers,we will actively play a greater role in building Community of Shared Future for Mankind,comprehensively promote the people-centered Chinese-style educational modernization,support Chinese-style modernization with Chinese-style educational modernization,and help the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The main innovations of this paper are as follows: first,the research perspective innovation,based on the people-centered perspective to study Xi Jinping’s important exposition on education and China’s education development,to study what kind of
