| Education is a national plan and a party plan.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to the position and role of education in upholding and developing the overall strategic situation of Socialism with Chinese characteristics.Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered education development is an important part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.Focusing on the major issues related to China’s education development,such as what kind of development and how to develop education in the new era,the people-centered thought runs through a series of important ideas,viewpoints and thoughts formed in the whole process of education development.It is a relatively complete theoretical system,and also the core content of Xi Jinping’s important exposition on education development,which includes the following related expositions: taking moral education as the basic task,serving the people as the basic position,cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality,intelligence,beauty and labor as the educational path,taking the people as the main force on which education development depends,and taking people’s satisfaction as the evaluation standard of education development.This paper focuses on Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered education development,insists on the unity of history and logic and the combination of theory and practice,and launches the research according to the path of "putting forward research questions,combing related expositions,tracing theoretical origins,explaining scientific connotations,summarizing theoretical characteristics,conciliating value implications,summarizing practical experience,analyzing practical difficulties and proposing practical paths",which is divided into the following seven parts.The first chapter is the introduction part,which puts forward questions.On the basis of explaining the research background and significance and studying the existing research results at home and abroad,it puts forward what kind of development and how to develop education in the new era as research questions,introduces research ideas and methods,key difficulties and possible innovations,and defines related core concepts.The second chapter expounds the background,theoretical origin and practical origin of Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered development of education.The third chapter explains the scientific connotation and theoretical characteristics of Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered education development.The fourth chapter explains the value implication of Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered education development from two dimensions of theory and practice.The fifth chapter summarizes the accumulated achievements and experience in the process of practicing people-centered development education since the 18 th CPC National Congress.The sixth chapter analyzes the realistic predicament of the people-centered development of education.The seventh chapter puts forward the practical path of developing education with people as the center in the new journey.Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered education development is rich in connotation and distinctive in characteristics.It always revolves around the logical path of the relationship between "people" and education development.It implies that the fundamental task of developing education is to cultivate people,the basic position is to insist on education serving the people,the educational path is to cultivate socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality,intelligence,beauty and labor,the main force to rely on is the people,the evaluation standard is to run a satisfactory education for the people,and the value aim is to promote educational achievements to benefit all the people more fairly.The long-term mission is.It has seven theoretical characteristics: highlighting people’s nature,grasping the times,strengthening politics,following science,persisting in systematicness,paying attention to fairness and emphasizing practicality.Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered development of education has great theoretical and practical value.Theoretically,it promoted the modernization of Marxist educational theory in China,enriched Socialism with Chinese characteristics’ s educational development theory,and deepened the understanding and grasp of the essence and laws of education.Practically,it points out the direction of China’s education development,the goal and task of education reform and development in the new era,the realization path of promoting Chinese-style education modernization and building an educational power,and the mission and task of education in building a socialist modern power in an all-round way.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,in the process of promoting the people-centered development of education,China has insisted on giving priority to education in a strategic position,taking strengthening the Party’s overall leadership over education as the fundamental guarantee for education development,taking education equity as the basic policy,taking the all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor as the educational goal,leading the high-quality development of education with reform and innovation,taking the construction of teachers as the basic work,constantly expanding education opening to the outside world,and making historic achievements and changes in education.However,there are still many urgent and anxious problems in the field of education that have not been fundamentally solved.The development of people-centered education still faces some practical difficulties,such as the problem of "involution" of education,the overall layout of educational resources is not balanced enough,the scientific system of educational evaluation has not yet been formed,the overall quality of educational development needs to be improved,and the construction level of teachers still needs to be improved,which restricts the development of people-centered education to some extent.On the new journey,to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered development of education,we should base ourselves on the new situation and new characteristics of the new era,aim at the realistic dilemma faced by people-centered development of education,and adhere to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide in accordance with the deployment made by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to promote the integrated development of education,science and technology and talents and the new requirements for running a satisfactory education for the people.Guided by promoting more and fairer educational achievements to benefit all the people,driven by deepening comprehensive reform in the field of education,taking the path of accelerating the improvement of the education system for all-round cultivation of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor,supported by building a team of high-quality professional and innovative teachers,we will actively play a greater role in building Community of Shared Future for Mankind,comprehensively promote the people-centered Chinese-style educational modernization,support Chinese-style modernization with Chinese-style educational modernization,and help the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The main innovations of this paper are as follows: first,the research perspective innovation,based on the people-centered perspective to study Xi Jinping’s important exposition on education and China’s education development,to study what kind of development and how to develop China’s education in the new era,and to broaden the research perspective of Xi Jinping’s important exposition on education,is a relatively new frontier topic;Second,the connotation explains innovation,and explains the internal logic of "people" and "education" from seven dimensions,such as the fundamental task of developing education,basic position,education path,relying on strength,evaluation standards,value purpose,and long-term mission,so as to fully show the people’s nature of education,expands and extends the connotation of Xi Jinping’s important exposition on people-centered development of education;Thirdly,a new viewpoint is put forward,which regards the promotion of Chinese-style educational modernization as the overall practical path of people-centered education development on the new journey,and analyzes the logical relationship between Chinese-style educational modernization and Chinese-style modernization,and puts forward that Chinese-style educational modernization should be comprehensively promoted and supported by Chinese-style educational modernization.Fourthly,a new practical path is put forward.Based on the strategic deployment of promoting the integrated development of education,science and technology and talents made by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Chapter 7 of this paper puts
