In the information age,self-regulated learning has become an inevitable choice for people,and information technology has become more and more obvious in the process of self-regulated learning.Visualization technology makes use of people’s advantages in visual perception and response to provide support for self-regulated learning and solve the problems existing in the process of online self-regulated learning,such as learners’ inherent limitations in self-regulated learning ability,resulting in unclear learning objectives,improper selection of learning strategies and low learning efficiency.External environmental factors cause learners unable to master their own learning state,unable to make full use of learning resources,or even "learning lost".As a tool for presenting information,visualization technology can play a role of prompt,feedback and recommendation in the process of self-regulated learning.On the one hand,it supports the construction of people’s own cognitive network and adjusts learners’ internal learning process;On the other hand,it supports the construction of environment and changes people’s external learning environment,so as to further promote the change of people’s own cognitive network and achieve the purpose of optimizing learning effect.This research solves many problems of online self-regulated learning by constructing an online self-regulated learning model supported by visualization technology.It focuses on three issues: how to build the V-OSRL model,how the V-OSRL model supports the online self-regulated learning process and verify the effect of the V-OSRL model research.This research adopts the research idea of "basic research-design research-empirical research-research conclusion and prospect",based on the social cognitive learning theory and the three-tier activity model of activity theory,integrates the regulation process of self-regulated learning and the environmental construction supported by visualization technology,then combines the self-determination theory,social comparison theory and double coding theory,from "individualbehavior-environment" the ternary interaction relationship,and constructs the visualization supported online self-regulated learning(V-OSRL)model.By mining,analyzing,processing and evaluating the learning behavior data generated in the process of learners’ online learning,it provides learners with objective,real and valuable visual support information,so as to help them adjust the learning process and select learning resources in time,and ensure the improvement of online learning quality.This research aims to promote the development of learners’ online self-regulated learning ability,based on the online learning situation,and explores the impact of visual technology support on students’ online self-regulated learning ability and performance.The main research work of this research includes:1.Construct the conceptual model of online self-regulated learning supported by visualization technology.Firstly,use the literature method to analyze the characteristics of online self-regulated learning and the basis of online self-regulated learning supported by visualization technology,use the literature method and the expert survey method to analyze the fit between the online self-learning problem and the visualization technology support,and determine the elements of the visualization technology to support the online self-learning,and then put forward the construction basis and principles of V-OSRL model,and on this basis,and construct the conceptual model of online self-regulated learning supported by visualization technology,namely V-OSRL model.From the "individual-behavior-environment" ternary interactions,this research respectively illustrates the structure of V-OSRL model including personal attributes,learning process represented by behaviors,learning environment supported by visualization technology,and the relationship among the three parts.Furthermore,V-OSRL model’s learning regulation and environment construction are explained respectively from the perspective of learners’ individual and visualization technology.2.Build an online self-regulated learning process model supported by visualization technology.Use the interpretive structure model method,focus on refining the self-regulated learning process in the V-OSRL model,build a V-OSRL process model,elaborate the structure,constituent elements and learning process based on the model,and put forward the operation mechanism of the V-OSRL process model.Focus on the visualization of the V-OSRL process model In the process of technical support,the learning needs and problems are found through learning behavior analysis,and then the visualization technology is used to transform the needs and problems into visual information provided to learners.Finally,the specific learning process based on V-OSRL process model under the framework of subject curriculum is described.3.Design the online self-regulated learning environment based on V-OSRL model.Use the development research method,based on the learning environment architecture design and relying on the discipline curriculum framework,design the visualization technology based on V-OSRL model to support the online self-regulated learning environment,and explain the main function design,realization effect and technical basis.4.Verify the self-regulated learning effect of V-OSRL model.Use the quasi-experimental research method and relying on the course of Children’s Literature,the experimental group and the control group are used to conduct an empirical study to verify the independent learning effect based on the V-OSRL model.Statistical analysis and data mining methods are used to analyze the perceived level of online self-regulated learning,the improvement level of professional ability,online learning behavior data,learning achievement and the support and effect of visualization technology.The analysis method analyzes the reflection log data and interview data,and uses the correlation analysis method to analyze the correlation between the online self-regulated learning ability data and the professional ability improvement level data.The combination of learning analytics,traditional questionnaire and interview is used to realize the subjective and objective evaluation of self-regulated learning ability.The results show that the self-regulated learning based on V-OSRL model can significantly improve the learners’ online self-regulated learning ability level.The experimental group and the control group have significant differences in their perception of online self-regulated learning ability;the experimental group and the control group have significant differences in final grades,indicating that Learning based on the V-OSRL model improves students’ comprehensive academic performance;the experimental group and the control group show significant differences in learning behavior patterns,and experimental group invest more in learning and are more purposeful and strategic;Most of the students in the experimental group believed that the visualization technology based on the V-OSRL model in learning support improved self-efficacy,stimulated learning motivation,increased the use of learning strategies,and improved online self-regulated learning behavior.This research constructs an online self-regulated learning model supported by visualization technology from a multidisciplinary perspective,designs an online self-regulated learning environment based on the V-OSRL model,and verifies the effect of online self-regulated learning based on the V-OSRL model.The innovation of this research is embodied in the introduction of visualization technology as a support to online self-regulated learning,based on the social cognitive learning theory and the hierarchical structure of learning activities,the integration process of self-regulated learning regulation and learning environment construction is discussed from the perspective of visual technology support,and the V-OSRL model was constructed.The model proposes a three-layer architecture and five components of self-regulated learning activities,and its semi-structured teaching design and self-organizing learning process are an extension of the existing learning process design and learning environment design.The integration process of self-regulated learning regulation and learning environment construction supported by visualization technology provides a new development idea for the practical research of technology-enhanced self-regulated learning.Relied on the "individual-behavior-environment" ternary interaction relationship,this research designs for self-regulated learning in the process of interaction between learners’ individual learning status of visual cues,learning behavior and the results of visual feedback and learning resources visualization of recommendation,then uses learning analytics technique to strengthen the learning behavior and process data of the dynamic feedback,and enriches the content and scope of visualization technology support.It helps to fully support the effect of online self-learning based on the V-OSRL model.
