With the rapid development of social economy and the deepening of the popularization of higher education,the society has put forward more specific requirements for the structure and quality of human resources,and the quality requirements for personnel training have been continuously improved.As the backbone of the country’s future development,college students have always been is the focus of social attention.In recent years,the frequent occurrence of psychological crisis events of college students has attracted social attention,and the phenomenon of freshmen’s adaptation and even “suspending school after admission” has increased year by year.The phenomenon of migration is obvious,and some students have abnormal emotional behavior or a history of mental and psychological related diseases before entering school.According to the general requirements of the state for mental health education,the matching of resources between school mental health education and services is constantly improving,but the mental health promotion system of "school-family-medical" interaction and cooperation has not yet been perfected,which is affected by traditional cognitive biases,parents and students focus mainly on the development of students’ academic ability,and they do not have a high degree of cognition and attention to psychological abnormal phenomena,which makes the psychological distress and problems of students in middle and primary schools not properly handled and resolved,the early developmental delay and accumulation of problems in self-cognition,emotional management,interpersonal communication become the trigger points for mental and psychological abnormalities in the university stage.At present,the work of students in colleges and universities has developed rapidly,the construction of mental health education and crisis intervention systems has become more systematic,professional and standardized,and the construction of mental health service institutions such as mental health education centers,psychological clinics,and college students’ career development institutes is in good condition;The mental health education course has been incorporated into the talent training curriculum system of colleges and universities as a compulsory course to achieve full coverage of teaching;under the background of the comprehensive implementation of "five education,collaborative education,and comprehensive development of quality education",the cultivation of college students’ mental health quality has received further attention.The group counseling activities that integrate the characteristics of physical and artistic disciplines such as music,art,and sports enrich the form and content of psychological education work,and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students to actively participate in mental health quality education activities.Judging from the overall effect of case counseling,course teaching,and group counseling activities,college students’ cognitive level of mental health knowledge has improved,but the internalization effect of mental health knowledge is not significant.When encountering psychological distress and problems,students have a weak awareness of using mental health knowledge and skills.The lack of self-regulation and self-promotion abilities,which are embodied in students’ cognition of mental health,their attitude of attaching importance to their mental health,and the maintenance of psychological stability.When encountering a large psychological conflict,the attribution perspective is limited,the initiative to use resources for psychological adjustment is weak,and the self-regulation effect is not good,which leads to the passive process of students’ mental health promotion and the weaker effectiveness of mental health education.Educational management workers in colleges and universities should think about the closed loop of mental health education work as a whole.While striving to promote the construction of mental health education work system,including improving the education mechanism,condition guarantee,and environmental resources,they should also pay attention to the inner view,from the perspective of mental health.The main body of educational work—college students themselves,always take students as the center,focus on consolidating and improving the effectiveness of psychological education,explore more effective mental health promotion mechanisms,and guide college students to change from a submissive role to a dominant role in the educational process,from "give a man a fish" to "teach a man how to fish",help students establish the awareness of actively maintaining physical and mental health,learn the knowledge and skills of health management,improve the ability of self-management of mental health,and actively carry out psychological self-cultivation and psychological self-help.Only then we can truly demonstrate the significance and value of mental health education.This research focused on college students’ mental health self-management,and analyzed the connotation of college students’ mental health self-management through literature review.Analysis and other methods are used to construct the theoretical construction of college students’ mental health self-management,determine and verify the structural dimensions of college students’ mental health self-management,and work out a measurement tool to study college students’ mental health self-management ability.By selected 469 students from five colleges and universities in the province as subjects,the "College Students’ Mental Health Self-Management Scale" is used to carry out investigation and research around the current situation and characteristics of college students’ mental health self-management.Based on the practical experience of mental health education in colleges and universities,the author starts from the perspective of promoting students’ physical and mental development through exercise,and further explores the influence of mental health education courses,individual counseling and other measures on the improvement of college students’ mental health self-management ability.From empirical researches above,this dissertation comes to conclusions as follows:1.Mental Health self-management is the ability of individual to consciously detect and evaluate the impact of mental conflict and actively control resources to maintain mental health.2.The developed mental health self-management scale for college students is composed of three dimensions: self-evaluation of mental health status,mental health management awareness and mental health support resource regulation,and consists of 25 items.The scale has good internal consistency and structural effect,which can be used as a measurement tool for self-management research on mental health of college students.3.College students have a strong awareness of the management of mental health status,and have a high degree of recognition of establishing good interpersonal interactions to promote mental health;in terms of whether to continue to pay attention to mental health status,college students have a low degree of recognition,which indicates that college students The lack of awareness of the laws of change,and the lack of awareness of long-term care for mental health,shows that when carrying out mental health education work,we should pay attention to the publicity,education and guidance of knowledge about the basic laws of psychological changes to help students enhance their self-care awareness.Encourage students to take the initiative to maintain a stable state of mental health.On the whole,college students of different genders,different ages,different schools and different self-assessed health status have certain differences in the three aspects of mental health status self-assessment,mental health management awareness and mental health support resource regulation.In the education and management practice of college students’ mental health self-management,it is necessary to pay full attention to the different characteristics of each student,achieve personalized assistance,and give full play to the positive function of college students’ mental health self-management in promoting college students’ mental health.4.Based on the perspective of sports promotion,this research studied college students’ mental health self-management through growth group practice activities and counseling assistance.The research results show that sports growth groups can enhance college students’ communication and emotional support,and promote the improvement of college students’ mental health self-management ability.Adhere to the people-oriented counseling concept,and insist on unconditional positive attention and emotional acceptance of case students,which will help to establish a good relationship between counseling and visiting,thereby promoting students’ self-exploration and experience sharing in counseling,and helping students to further identify with sports.The positive function of physical and mental promotion is beneficial for students to actively participate in sports in the process of self-care to deepen self-awareness,advance from self-knowledge to self-understanding,and to guide the college students to understand that self-initiative is a better psychological construction resource.Support the college students to understand themselves,to be self-acceptance and positive in self-promotion.
