Study On Chinese Communist Party’s National Rejuvenation Ideology

For a hundred years,the greatest dream of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation has been to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.After the Opium War,China was plunged into a tragic situation and the Chinese nation suffered an unprecedented disaster.For this reason,countless aspiring individuals fought staunchly and unyieldingly for the independence of the country and the liberation of the people,and pushed the national liberation movement forward.Although the struggle of the Chinese people before the founding of New China has driven the progress of history,it has not been able to completely overthrow the three mountains of imperialism,feudalism and bureaucratic capitalism,and even such a great struggle as the Xinhai Revolution has not been able to finally solve the fundamental problem of national unification and national liberation.The Chinese people and the Chinese nation urgently needed a new ideology to lead the salvation movement and a new organization to unite the revolutionary forces.In response to the strong call of the people and history,the Communist Party of China(CPC)was born,and the Chinese nation truly opened the new chapter of great national rejuvenation.Over the past hundred years,the CPC has always maintained its original mission of working.Therefore,since its birth,the CPC has developed a series of rich and far-reaching ideas and perspectives on national rejuvenation in the course of leading the Chinese revolution,construction and reform,and especially in the historical process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The formation and development of the CPC’s ideology of national rejuvenation has a strong practical need and contains a rich theoretical foundation,which is an important factor in the Party’s success in the past and an important basis for the Party’s continued success in future development.The theoretical foundation of the CPC’s ideology of national rejuvenation originates from three main sources: first,from the scientific theory of Marxism.Since its birth,the Party has realized that only by completely eliminating the decadent feudal system,overcoming the barbaric aggression of imperialist countries,overthrowing the rule of all reactionary systems,completely wiping out the old system,and establishing a new state for the people,can it realize its ambitious vision of a rich nation and a strong and happy people.Second,it is derived from the cultural essence of the excellent Chinese traditional culture.As a Marxist party,the essential attribute of the CPC is to maintain the advanced and pure nature of the party,but at the same time,it also vigorously carries forward the Chinese spirit,such as the innovative spirit manifested in the saying,"Although the Zhou is an old state,its destiny is new",the patriotic sentiment of "family,country and world" and the ideal vision of "the world as a commonwealth" is a combination of Marxism and the excellent Chinese traditional culture.Third,it is derived from the ideological and theoretical achievements of the Chinese people’s unremitting struggle since modern times.The CPC was born out of the urgent need to resist invasion and oppression,to change backwardness and poverty,and to achieve national wealth and national strength.As a new revolutionary force,the CPC has achieved its mission of national rejuvenation by absorbing and learning from the achievements of the Chinese people’s exploration in the modern era,and in the process,it has continuously enriched and improved the ideology of national rejuvenation.The formation and refinement of the Communist Party of China’s ideology of national rejuvenation has gone through four main stages.The first stage was the28-year period from 1921 to 1949,the Party led the people achieved national independence and people’s liberation and the great victory of the New Democratic Revolution,which created the fundamental social conditions for the Party to achieve national rejuvenation.In the second stage,during the 29-year period from 1949 to1978,the Party led the people to be self-reliant and solemnly proclaimed to the world that the Chinese people "are also good at building a new world",which helped the Party lay the fundamental political premise and institutional foundation to achieve national rejuvenation.In the third stage,during the 34 years from 1978 to 2012,the Party led the people to emancipate their minds and forge ahead;and continuously promoting reform and opening up,,and striving to achieve common prosperity for the people;and providing the Party with a new dynamic institutional guarantee and the material condition for fast development to achieve national rejuvenation.The fourth stage is from 2012 to the present,the Party has led the people create a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,achieving the first 100-year goal of building a moderately prosperous society,solving the problem of absolute poverty,and starting the second 100-year goal of building a modern socialist power,bringing the Party closer than ever to its original mission of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and writing a new chapter of national rejuvenation.The CPC’s ideology of national rejuvenation,which has lasted for a century,is extremely rich in connotation and involves a wide range of fields.This paper mainly summarizes six aspects,namely,the pursuit of the goal of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the fundamental position,the force to be relied on,the correct path,the institutional system and the leadership that must be relied upon to achieve the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The pursuit of the goal of national rejuvenation is that the Party,after carrying forward and developing the aspirations of Sun Yat-sen and Liang Qichao for "revitalizing China," has successively put forward the ideas of "the resurrection of the Chinese nation," "the transformation of China and the world," and "national liberation","national liberation","revival of the great Chinese civilization","great dream",etc.The essence of these different goals,essentially pointing to the overall goal of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,reflects the rich hierarchy of the idea of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,highlights the Party’s theoretical exploration and practical innovation at the three levels of the state,the nation and the people,and highlights the important feature of the Party’s gradual and continuous adjustment and improvement of the connotation of the goal of the Party’s idea of national rejuvenation.The CPC’s unswerving insistence on people-centeredness means that it always adheres to the principle of the materialistic view of history that the people are the creators of the material and spiritual wealth of the country,always places the people in the highest position,responds to the people’s appeals,,which clearly demonstrates the CPC’s value aspiration for national rejuvenation.It also shows the unique characteristics of the CPC that distinguish it from other parties in achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The correct path to achieve national rejuvenation refers to the Party’s thinking and practice in exploring the question of what path to choose to achieve the great cause of national rejuvenation.In order to find the correct path to achieve the great cause of national rejuvenation,the Party comprehensively grasps the background and problems of the times at each stage of historical development,accurately grasps the changes that have occurred in the major social contradictions,and proposes the construction of a socialist path with Chinese,national and contemporary characteristics.Strong leadership means that the Party’s leadership must always be adhered to in order to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The CPC,as the core leading force to achieve the goal of national rejuvenation,can only realize the long-cherished Chinese dream of the Chinese people for a century,by continuously improving the party’s ability of self-purification,self-perfection,self-renovation and self-improvement,and continuously forging itself into a strong Marxist party with the leadership advantage of the CPC.The ideology of national rejuvenation of the CPC has strong theoretical significance and practical value.It is an ideology guided by Marxism,following the laws of party rule,the laws of socialist construction and the laws of human social development,greatly enriching and developing Marxist ideology and theory,providing Chinese solutions and Chinese wisdom for other developing countries,and providing a new form of development for the progress of human civilization.
