Research On The Marxist Political Economy Of A New Development Pattern

At the end of the 70s of the 20th century,since China started the market-oriented reform,it gradually formed a growth model of external circulation to drive the economy,and repeatedly created growth miracles,but after entering the 21st century,with the new changes in the process of globalization,the traditional export growth model has been incompatible with the current stage of economic development,especially in the face of the background of the two changing times,it is particularly important to coordinate the opportunities and risks of domestic and international development,and build a new development pattern with domestic circulation as the main body and domestic and international mutual promotion.The new development pattern is a major strategy made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core,focusing on the stable development of the domestic economy,and it is also an important strategic choice to deeply cope with international development bottlenecks and complex situations,and at the same time provides an important guarantee for solving the medium and long-term problems faced in the new era.It can be seen that in-depth interpretation of the connotation and logic of the new development pattern is of great significance for understanding the development of domestic circulation and high-level international circulation.Since the new development pattern strategy was first proposed in 2020,the existing literature has analyzed the connotation,theory,history and practice of the new development pattern,and these studies have certain enlightenment and reference significance,but the new development pattern strategy has been proposed for a short time,and still needs to be deepened and supplemented.Since the new development pattern is an important strategy to cope with the problems of the current era,in order to respond to the changes in the world pattern and China’s national conditions,the study of the new development pattern needs to be based on Marxist theory and run through the background of the times and the reality of China.In view of this,this paper analyzes the new development pattern under the paradigm of Marxist position,viewpoint and method,based on Marxist political economy and draws on the"center-periphery" theory,and uses text analysis method,systematic research method,comparative analysis method,and logic and historical unity method to conduct general analysis and logical analysis of the new development pattern,and strives to achieve a deep understanding of the connotation and logic of the new development pattern.In addition to the introduction and literature review,this paper is divided into three parts:The first part(Chapter 3)is a research paradigm for the new development pattern from the perspective of Marxist political economy.This part is to analyze the Marxist political economy position,viewpoint and method of the new development pattern,and build a research paradigm for the new development pattern for the article.The positions,viewpoints and methods of the new development pattern from the perspective of Marxist political economy are:people-centered research position,Marxist political economy related theory as the research idea,dialectical materialism and historical materialism and the systematic research method as the research method,so as to realize the integration of the basic principles of Marxism with China’s specific reality,and constantly improve the process of Marxist political economy theory.At the same time,Marx’s position,viewpoint and method are unified,so the "three comparisons" and "triple logic" of studying the new development pattern are also unified.The second part(Chapter 4),the basic concepts of the new development pattern and the "three comparisons".This part first starts from the Marxist political economy to sort out the basic concepts of the new development pattern,and then studies the connotation of the new development pattern from the comparison of the measurement of double circulation,the comparison of the development history of typical countries and the comparison of the two social natures.Starting from the double-cycle measure,the domestic and international cycles of different countries and the specific decomposition forms were compared.This part mainly uses the input-output model,uses the method of decomposing GDP to measure the domestic and international circulation indicators of developed countries,emerging countries and backward countries,and uses the method of decomposing export value to measure and compare the characteristics of different countries’ participation in the global value chain,which provides evidence for demonstrating the domestic and international circulation differences of different economies in the world.Starting from the development history of typical countries in the world,the process of national rise and decline is compared.This part mainly analyzes the history of the rise and fall of Spain and Portugal,the development history of Britain,the United States and Japan as central countries,the development history of India and Brazil as emerging countries,summarizes the historical laws and experiences of the development process of typical countries in the world,and paves the way for studying the historical logic of the new development pattern proposed by China.Starting from the two social natures,the nature of the participation of the capitalist system and the socialist system in globalization is compared.This part explains that the performance of capitalist countries’integration into globalization has gradually shifted from colonial plunder to economic plunder,which in the final analysis reflects the unequal nature of capitalist globalization,while the integration of socialist countries into globalization is a win-win situation between countries,thus indicating that China’s construction of a new development pattern is adhering to the socialist nature and is essentially different from capitalist globalization.The third part(chapters 5,6,and 7)is an analysis of the "triple logic" of the new development pattern.This part mainly studies the generative logic of the new development pattern from three levels:theoretical logic,historical logic and practical logic.The theoretical logical level is mainly based on the perspective of Marxist political economy and draws on the "center-periphery" theory,constructs the theoretical basis of the new development pattern,dialectically analyzes the "center-periphery" pattern of domestic circulation and the "center-periphery" pattern produced by the international cycle under the capitalist system,so as to form the essential characteristics and world significance of building a new development pattern.At the level of historical logic,we have always adhered to Marx’s historical materialist thinking,placed China in the overall situation of the world,understood the laws of domestic and international circulation historical movements at different stages of development since the founding of New China from the perspective of integrity and overall situation,explored the policy goals of cultivating domestic main circulation and linking domestic and international cycles from a longer historical period,formed a historical context of the new development pattern from standing up,getting rich to becoming strong,and further summarized and sublimated the core clues that the new development pattern depends on.Fully grasp the historical logic of building a new development pattern.At the level of practical logic,it should be pointed out in essence that the practical background of the new development pattern is the choice of implementing the new development concept in the new development stage,and the practical path of the new development pattern is the dynamic balance between the supply side and the demand side,the coordination of the domestic circulation and the domestic and international circulation relationship,and the promotion of reform and development and stability in the same direction,and finally the practical goal of the new development pattern is to promote the high-quality development of China’s economy,so as to form a new development stage,a new development concept,a new development pattern and a high-quality development of the unified practical logic.Based on the above research,this paper reflects three innovations:First,from the perspective of research,it is mainly manifested in explaining the new development pattern from the perspective of Marxist political economy.Since the existing literature needs to deepen the academic rationale for explaining the new development pattern,this paper attempts to study the connotation and logic of the new development pattern based on Marxist political economy and combined with China’s specific practice and the background of the times,and excavate and generate a new development pattern with Chinese characteristics,so as to enrich the achievements of Marxist political economy.Second,the research content is mainly manifested in in-depth study of the theoretical,historical and practical logic of the new development pattern.At the level of theoretical logic,based on Marxist political economy and drawing on the "center-periphery" theory,the new development pattern is reconstructed,and the essential characteristics and world significance of the new development pattern are further explained.At the level of historical logic,based on the perspective of Marx’s historical materialism,it interprets and summarizes historical experience and development laws,uses more detailed historical materials to understand the objective laws of building a new development pattern since the founding of New China,and finally finds the core clues of dependence and independence.At the level of practical logic,based on the practical background of the new development stage and new development concept,the practical path of the new development pattern is constructed,and the practical goal of high-quality development is finally achieved,and the unity of the new development stage,new development concept,new development pattern and high-quality development is formed.Third,in terms of research methods,it is mainly manifested in the use of systematic research methods to analyze the new development pattern.This paper uses systematic research methods to analyze the "triple logic" of the new development pattern on the basis of "three comparisons".The first comparison and theoretical logic have achieved a qualitative and quantitative combination,the second comparison and historical logic are general and special relations,and the third comparison and practical logic both highlight the socialist nature of the new development pattern,so that the "three comparisons" and "triple logic" of the new development pattern have a corresponding relationship.At the same time,the internal relationship of the "three comparisons" is to conduct a general analysis of the new development pattern around the idea of "center-periphery",and explain the old pattern of the world economic structure under the capitalist system as "center-periphery",which paves the way for the later study of the new development pattern from the "triple logic",that is,grasp the characteristics of the new development pattern from the crisscrossing theory,history and practice,change the old pattern of "center-periphery"under the capitalist system,and form a complete logical analysis framework can grasp the importance of building a new development pattern as a whole.
