An Empirical Study On The Psychological Process Of A Strong Sense Of Community For The Chinese Nation

It is the main line of our ethnic work in the new era to foster a strong sense of community for Chinese nation and promote the common prosperity and development of all ethnic groups in the new era.It has an important social dynamic significance for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Since fostering the strong sense of community for Chinese nation was proposed,it has become a research hotspot in academia.Previous studies mainly focused on theoretical analysis of the connotation,significance,historical process and cultivation path of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation,while few scholars have studied its psychological process.The strong sense of community for Chinese nation itself is a collective consciousness and a social psychological phenomenon.In addition,in order to foster the strong sense of community for Chinese nation more accurately and effectively,it is of great significance to explore the psychological process of the formation of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation.Therefore,this study takes Langmusi Town in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province as an example to conduct an exploratory study on the psychological process of the formation of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation by field investigation,in-depth interview and grounded theory coding.Based on field investigation,in-depth interview and grounded theory coding of 500,000 words of interview data,this study draws the following conclusions about the psychological process of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation:The psychological structure dimension of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation includes the inter-ethnic identity established in the long-term communication and integration process of various ethnic groups,the common social identity shaped in the process of social change,and the strong sense of community for Chinese nation with national identity as the core formed on the basis of the condensation and sublimation of the inter-ethnic identity and social identity.At the same time,each dimension of the psychological structure of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation can be either horizontal parallel relationship or vertical progressive relationship.Under different conditions,this relationship can change.In terms of the psychological process of the formation of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation,first of all,the ethnic identity established after long-term ethnic communication and integration has eliminated the estrangement between ethnic groups,highlighted the commonality of different ethnic groups in social life,and provided a good ethnic psychological environment for the formation of common social identity.Secondly,the social change with modernization as the core content is a social process in which all ethnic groups in multi-ethnic areas are actively participating.In this process,the heterogeneity between ethnic groups is gradually weakened,and the commonalities in daily life and social concepts are gradually increased.These commonalities are shaping the material and spiritual lives of different ethnic members.To form a common social identity.Common social identity creates a good social psychological basis for the formation of national identity and the consciousness of the Chinese nation community.Finally,the ethnic identity and social identity have achieved transcendence,cohesion and sublimation in the object,scope and height of the identity,forming a holistic collective consciousness,a higher identity pattern including the ethnic identity,social identity and national identity.Thus,the strong sense of community for Chinese nation was formed.The generation path of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation includes the path of ethnic identity,the path of social identity and the path of integration of ethnic identity and social identity.The basic characteristics of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation include internal unity,plasticity of development,co-construction and social power.These basic characteristics make the strong sense of community for Chinese nation in a stable state internally,and provide a good social psychological environment and social psychological power for the construction of Chinese national community externally.The influence factors of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation include the state’s social policy in ethnic areas,the degree of ethnic communication and integration,the common social memory of all ethnic groups and the common development needs of all ethnic groups.Based on this,the social psychological path to solidify the sense of community of the Chinese nation mainly includes condenses the common social memory of the Chinese nation in the historical dimension,establishes appropriate social identity in the realistic level,and cultivates a positive social mentality in the future development.Taking a multi-ethnic area as an example,this study adopts the method of empirical research to explore the psychological process of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation.The research conclusions are applicable to:multi-ethnic areas;Ethnic areas undergoing social change;The social changes in ethnic areas have had a profound impact on the daily life,future development and psychological needs of the people of all ethnic groups.A mono-ethnic area that is not multi-ethnic but has had relatively frequent contact with other ethnic groups.Finally,this study believes that the strong sense of community for Chinese nation is a comprehensive research topic,and the perspectives and ideas of economics,sociology,management,psychology,ethnology and other related disciplines should be combined in the research process to establish a multidisciplinary integration paradigm for the study of the strong sense of community for Chinese nation.
