Research On Russian Expatriates In Northeast China (1896-1959

After the signing of the Sino Russian secret treaty in 1896,Russia was granted the right to build the Chinese Eastern Railway in Northeast China.Along with the construction of the Chinese Eastern Railway,the Russian diaspora started its activities in Northeast China.From the end of the 19 th century to the 1950 s,the Russian diaspora in Northeast China changed through the ages,forming an integral part of the history of migration in Northeast China.Taking the Russian diaspora as the research object,this paper systematically divides the activity history of the Russian diaspora in Northeast China,explores the social composition,legal status and political activities of the Russian diaspora in various historical periods based on history and from the perspectives of international relations,sociology,international law and demography,and expounds the changes of the social composition of the Russian diaspora,analyzes the transformation of the legal status of Russian diaspora and the solutions,summarizes the living conditions of Russian diaspora in different periods,and makes an objective evaluation of Russian diaspora.The significance of the study is to explore the history of Sino-Russia relation from the perspective of the history of the Russian diaspora in China,to consolidate and promote the deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and China in the new era,to explore new breakthrough points for cooperation between Russia and China,and to strengthen the foundations of Russian-Chinese regional cooperation.The study finds that the social composition of the Russian diaspora is closely related to social changes and has obvious stage characteristics;their political activities have obvious ideological overtones and class characteristics;the changes in their legal status are influenced by changes in international relations and are clearly correlated;the living conditions of the diaspora are influenced by various factors such as personal abilities and Local policy and have some complexities.
